How does the player pool work? Are all free agents at the time of the auction eligible or only those who were in the AL last year? If they sign with NL team after do you still keep them?

Are traded players eligible if they started on AL team before start of season? I assume traded players enter free agent pool if traded to AL team.

Thank you!

Michael, only AL-only players at the time of the auction are available for bidding. Unsigned free agents are also available, but they MUST sign with an AL team to secure their stats. If they sign with an NL team, their stats are not available as long as that player remains in the NL.

If you got an AL player on Draft Day and he gets traded to the NL after that, you still retain their statistics. And yes, if an NL player is traded to the AL after Draft Day, they are then available via FAAB.

You've got the rules correct!!! Still 2 Spots Left in this AL-only Auction League!!
