I want to let everyone know I recently released my second book, called "The History of Fantasy Sports: And the Stories of the People Who Made It Happen."
This is the first ever book that tells the entire history of how fantasy games came to be, the creation of commercial games, magazines, websites, news services, high stakes leagues, etc., etc. And it tells the stories of the people like Greg Ambrosius who created everything. I spent 18 months conducting massive research and interviewing more than 100 people.
The editorial reviews and early amazon reviews are fantastic. For example:
"Exhaustively researched, this is the most detailed history of the fantasy sports industry. Despite spending my entire career in the industry, I was enlightened by all the interviews and countless stories throughout the book." Paul Charchian, President of the Fantasy Sports Trade Association, 2009-2020
You are all going to love this book. Seriously, you will. And of course Greg's story of entering the magazine business, then creating NFBC/NFFC is covered; and there's a chapter on High Stakes Leagues, including how and why Emil Kadlec and Lenny Pappano started WCOFF.
If you go on Amazon or Barnes and Noble, search "History of Fantasy Sports" you'll find the page, with more details, table of contents, and reviews.
