Each week, we'll showcase show some of the top FAAB pickups in each league so that everyone can stay up to speed with some of the new acquisitions. Here's the going rate in each NFBC league for the most sought-after free agents:



Chicago League 1: 1000 Benjamins paid $77 for Jason Marquis, while Crosley Field Nash, Young paid $58 for Marlon Anderson and Matt Holliday went for $51 to INDY GATORs. Other top bids of note included Dixie Walkers paying $47 for Ted llilly and $37 for David DeJesus; CARPE DIEM paying $27 for Reed Johnson; Razor Shines Last Fan paying $27 for Ken Harvey; Big Mac Attack paying $25 for Ismael Valdez; 1000 Benjamins paying $23 apiece for Mike Lamb and Pedro Feliz and INDY GATORS paying $21 apiece for Juan Uribe and Brandon Inge.



Chicago League 2: Sabersmack shelled out the highest bid of the week in this league, paying $104 for A.J. Burnett. Meanwhile, Drafthelp Noys of Summer paid $68 for Brandon Inge, while DFW Rough Riders paid $61 for Brian Lawrence and Shenanigans paid $61 for Tony Graffanino. Other top bids this week were CREATIVESPROTS Gawron paying $56 for Kenny Lofton; Mastering the Flow paying $1 for Matt Holliday; Da Leaderboard paying $50 for Matt Kata; Mastering the Flow paying $1 for Eric Byrnes, Team Florczak paying $37 for Joe Kennedy; Drafthelp Noys of Summer paying $35 for Barry Larkin; CREATIVESPORTS Gawron paying $32 each for John Patterson, Ismael Valdez and David DeJesus; Da Leaderboard paying $20 for Paul Abbott; Dante’s Screamers paying $19 for Keith Ginter and Antioch Apocalypse paying $18 for Chone Figgins.



Chicago League 3: Scarface paid $123 for Matt Holliday in this league, while Team Pike paid $118 for Brian Lawrence, Godfathers B.S. Patrol bid $111 for Wilson Alvarez and Team Gray paid $105 apiece for Jason Marquis and Jake Westbrook. Other high bids this week were Team Gray paying $98 for Sn-Woo Kim; Worst Russian Ever paying $87 for Marlon Anderson; Godfathers B.S. patrol paying $47 for Matt Kata; Team Pike paying $46 for Brad Lidge; What’s the rumpus? Paying $35 for Sergio Mitre; Godfathers B.S. patrol paying $23 for Rodrigo Lopez and Lake Shore Drive paying $16 for Chone Figgins.



New York League 1: Tuna Kings paid $146 for Matt Kata to post the high bid of the week. www.ROTOBOWL.com paid $120 for Kerry Ligtenberg, while MotownPhilly paid $117 for Billy Koch and $116 for David Dellucci. Meanwhile, Ball Five shelled out $107 for Marco Scutaro and Tuna Kings paid $104 for Joe Kennedy. New York League 2: Harlem Hangover had the two highest bids of the week, paying $244 for David DeJesus and $177 for Matt Holliday. Kingman-Millan Gambit paid $67 for Luis Ayala, while Ride the Puffins paid $66 for Matt Kata and PiNsTrIpErS paid $42 for Karim Garcia. Other high bids were Cellar Dwellars paying $38 for Frank Catalanotto; Philly CheeseSteaks paying $36 for Kenny Rogers; Roenicke-Lowenstein paying $33 for John Patterson; LaJolla Lux paying $27 for Aaron Harang; F-scubba paying $25 for Ray Lankford; LaJolla Lux paying $21 for Scot Shields; Jersey Bombers paying $21 apiece for Ismael Valdez and Chad Tracy and Harlem Hangover paying $21 for Brandon Inge.



New York League 3: InItToWinIt had the high bid in this league, paying $151 for Scott Schoeneweis. We Go now paid $104 for Matt Holliday, while New York Yankees paid $95 for Mike Lamb, Team Ross paid $55 for David DeJesus and Balto. Boys paid $53 for Joe Kennedy. New York League 4: BARNSTORMERS had the two highest bids this week, paying $125 for Lew Ford and $101 for Joe Kennedy. The Chameleons paid $66 for Doug Waechter, while Kings of Swing paid $53 for Matt Kata and CREATIVESPORTS Walton paid $52 for Orlando Hudson. Other high bids were Quahogs paying $29 for Ken Harvey; Amazin’ Bets paying $28 for David Segui; We have Midas paying $26 for David DeJesus; Moneymaker paying $21 for Ismael Valdez; CREATIVESPORTS Walton paying $21 for Chad Cordero and Team Cummings paying $21 for R.A. New York League 5: Team Fox had the high bid with a $142 bid for David DeJesus. Money Bags paid $111 for Matt Kata, while Team Conti paid $70 for Matt Holliday and CALS CREW paid $53 for Frank Menechino. Other high bids were Team Conti paying $30 for Brandon Inge and Supply-siders paying $23 apiece for Terry Adams and Robert Fick.



Las Vegas League 1: STEEL CURTAIN had the top bid this week, paying $207 for Matt Holliday. Team Gallagher shelled out $101 for Matt Kata, while PIGGY paid $76 for John Patterson and Las Vegas Ratpack paid $60 for Wes Helms. Other high bids this week were Blind Threesome paying $34 for Brandon Inge; OUT OF THE SHADOWS paying $33 for Sergio Mitre; High & Mighty paying $27 for Joe Kennedy; STEEL CURTAIN paying $26 for Tony Graffanino; Who Dat Is? paying $26 for Ken Harvey; High & Mighty paying $25 for Paul Abbott; Blind Threesome paying $22 for Mike Lamb and High & Mighty paying $22 for Marlon Anderson.



Las Vegas League 2: Hankerchiefs had the high bid this week, paying $103 for David Dellucci, while Captain Hook paid $101 for Kevin Gregg and $69 for Juan Uribe. Oysters paid $63 for Tony Graffanino, Mighty Bozos 2004 paid $57 for Robert Fick, Captain Hook paid $56 for Rodrigo Lopez and RotoPlay.com paid $52 for Chone Figgins. Las Vegas League 3: CREATIVESPORTS (Buster) topped this week’s bids, paying $273 for Matt Holliday. The Roto Times paid $101 for Ryan Franklin and $55 for John Patterson, while Fat, Drunk and Stupid paid $47 for Robert Fick and WEIRD SCIENCE paid $43 for Chone Figgins. Other high bids this week were PezSox paying $36 for Sergio Mitre; Magnificent Bastards paying $32 for Matt Kata; Appleton Hays paying $24 for Eric Byrnes; Curt Flood Love paying $22 for Barry Larkin and PezSox paying $19 for Doug Waechter.



Las Vegas League 4: Leaderboard Sports NFBC had the high bid in this Vegas league, paying $289 for Matt Holliday. Meanwhile, CC’s Desperados (Draft) paid $209 for Brett Myers and Johnny Walker Reds dished out $107 for David DeJesus. Fort Lauderdale Tides paid $81 for Jake Westbrook, while KLN Rotomania paid $69 for Matt Kata and Team Kanfer paid $55 for Zach Day and $33 for David Dellucci. Fort Lauderdale Tides also had a $33 bid, this one for Juan Uribe. Other high bids this week were NADER’S RAIDERS paying $27 for Joe Kennedy; Miami Mac paying $23 for Eric Byrnes; Wise Guy Baseball paying $21 for Robert Fick and Wiz’s Leaderboard Team paying $20 apiece for Shawn Estes and Tony Graffanino.



Las Vegas League 5: Sackofpotatoes paid $149 for Rafael Soriano to record the high bid in this league. The Four Perps paid $101 for Pedro Feliz, while Sackofpotatoes paid $67 for Tony Graffanino and wemarriedshikas paid $56 for Matt Kata.
