Win $12,000 In The 2025 NFBC Best Ball 12 Championship

For the third straight year, the NFBC is offering the Best Ball 12-Team National Championship, a true draft-and-be-done, season-long best ball contest. We debuted this format in baseball in 2023 and have maxed out the last two years. We debuted two years ago with 720 teams consisting of 60 leagues before finishing with 816 teams and 68 leagues last year.

So let's do it again and this time with a guaranteed $12,000 grand prize.

That's right, we are raising the grand prize for this contest by $2,000 and shooting for almost 800 teams. We believe another sellout is imminent and I wouldn't be surprised if we approached 900 teams in 2025. Let's go.

The Best Ball National Championship will consist of 12-team leagues at $150 per team and we'll pay the top two teams in each league ($600, $300), while guaranteeing a $12,000 grand prize in the overall competition. We'll pay the Top 25 teams in the overall championship.

Prizes are based on 66 leagues and we will no longer offer private Best Ball 12s. This format is now available only in the national championship format. We do have Best Ball Double Ups, which are private leagues, so check out that format if you like best ball leagues with only league prizes.

We are currently offering 4-Hour, 2-Hour and 1-Hour drafts and will have nightly drafts at 1 minute per pick in January, February and March. We believe the demand is there to grow this contest in future years, while also growing the NFBC Cutline Best Ball National Championship. This one is different in that it has 12-team leagues and no FAAB, so we think there is something for everyone here.
