43 Spots Left: Week 8 NFBC/Fanball $50/50 Teams Contest

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Mon Apr 07, 2025 9:30 am

The NFBC Main Event sold out for a 21st straight season in 2025 with 855 teams. Now it's time to concentrate on 2026 and get our first NFBC Main Event entries. Who's ready to become the first entrant in the 2026 NFBC Main Event?

You can win that honor if you join and then win the Week 3 NFBC/Fanball $50/50 Teams Contest this Friday night. This is the first DFS slate of the season and we'll have 50 teams at $50 each competing for the Top 3 prizes. The top prize, of course, is a FREE 2026 NFBC Main Event entry valued at $1,800. Who's ready to win that and be the first entrant into the 2026 NFBC Main Event?

The Week 3 slate consists of 26 teams competing in 13 games. The first games start at 7:05 pm ET, so all rosters must be finalized before that first pitch. All Friday night NFBC/Fanball $50/50 Teams Contests will include those starting at 7:05 pm ET or later, so plan accordingly.

This is a Friday-only contest that costs $50 per team and each owner is limited to just three teams each. The team with the highest score after Friday's games wins a FREE 2026 NFBC Main Event entry valued at $1,800. We'll pay the Top 3 finishers, but the big winner is the champion.

One of the nice innovations that we've come up with in recent years is the Qualifier Contests that allow our players to win a FREE contest entry the next year for a low entry fee contest this year. We had 16 Main Event Qualifiers from this NFBC/Fanball $50/50 Teams Contest in 2024 and we added 27 NFBC Main Event Qualifier leagues this off-season in the $125 Main Event Qualifier leagues, which was the highest total ever. We also added 66 Rotowire Online Championship Qualifier leagues this off-season -- another new record -- so a lot of people are going to win FREE entries for 2026.

But let's start with this Main Event Qualifier this Friday night and continue this every Friday night for the next 3-4 months. Sound good?

We will run these contests as long as demand merits it. Once demand wanes and we can't sell them out, we'll stop running these. We will go as long as you want us to keep offering them. Okay, here's the second one of the season, which locks at 7:05 pm ET on Friday night:

Secure your teams now and set your final lineup by 7:05 pm ET Friday as the first slate of games start at that time. Good luck all and enjoy.

Jim Christie of Rochester, New York won the first NFBC/Fanball $50/50 Contest and is our first entry into the 2026 NFBC Main Event. Great job Jim and welcome back to the premiere contest in the industry. Now let's see if you can win another entry or if someone else will be joining you on the list.
