More Impressive than 20K's in 9 IP???

I was watching the Twins and Indians game last night.
Johan Santana struck out Johnny Peralta for the second time and the commentators announced that's 21 K's in 27 ABs. (He did have three hits.) Next AB - K!
Led me to think...what was more impressive this or Clemens and Wood striking out 20 in 9 innings...and then it hit me, the most amazing thing was Eric Wedge still starting Peralta when Santana started.
