Phil Dussault of Terrebonne, Quebec added to his impressive resume by winning the 2025 NFBC Diamond League and that $75,000 league prize in dominating fashion. Phil finished with 132.5 points thanks to 73 offensive points as he won this league by a whopping 24.5 points. Defending champion Steve Jupinka finished second with 108.0 points.

This was one of the wildest drafts of the season as five Starting Pitchers went in the first round, 11 SPs went in the first two rounds and 27 pitchers went in the first 62 picks. Phil started his draft with four straight pitchers (2 SPs, 2 Closers), but it was his pick of Cal Raleigh in Round 6 and Junior Caminero in Round 7 that helped this offense dominate with 73 of 75 possible points.

Phil has had a helluva run since joining the NFBC in 2017. He won the Main Event overall title in 2021, the NFBC Auction Championship overall title in 2021 and he won the Platinum League titles in 2023 and 2024. He also finished second in the Rotowire Online Championship in 2021.

This is also his second Diamond League title, having won his first league title in 2022, the first year he joined the Diamond League. He has now won this $75,000 prize twice. Steve Jupinka won $35,000 for his runner-up finish, while Jon Stadtmueller finished third and won $20,000 and Glenn Schroter finished fourth and won $10,000.

Cost of entry for this league was $10,000.

This team was in 13th place through the first week of May, but moved into first place by mid-June and never left that spot the rest of the way. Great job Champ and congrats on another major NFBC title.

The Diamond League will again be held in Las Vegas at the Rio and Online on Sunday, March 22nd at 4 pm PT/7 pm ET. All owners from this year's Diamond League will have first dibs on their spots through December 31st and then after that we'll open Registration to the public.

We have had 12 different champions in the Diamond League in 16 years of this contest. Phil joins Jim Ferrari, Bob Particelli and KC Cha with two titles each.
