David Einhorn of Rye, New York won the NFBC New York MTM Ultimate League in dominating fashion this year as he took home the $40,000 league prize. This is David's first title in the prestigious New York MTM Ultimate League.

Einhorn won the league title by 22 points as he had a very balanced team, scoring a total of 134.0 points thanks to 68 hitting points and 66 pitching points. Eric Albright finished second with 112 points to win $20,000 and Ned Donohue was third and earned $7,500

Cost of entry for the NFBC New York MTM Invitational Ultimate League was $5,000.

This was the second year that we held the MTM Ultimate League in New Jersey, but it was a big hit as the final event on Saturday night. David drafted from the 10th spot and built his team around Juan Soto, Zach Wheeler and Jacob deGrom. Jhoan Duran in Round 5 and Christian Yelich in Round 7 were also solid early picks for this championship team.

The New York MTM Ultimate League was organized by Mike Massotto and hosted at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Robbinsville, New Jersey. This year we had two auction leagues on Friday night, two Main Event leagues on Saturday and then the MTM Ultimate League on Saturday night. There was an after-draft party at Mike's home in New Jersey that included folks who participated the entire weekend. We will again host the New York Ultimate League in Robbinsville, New Jersey this year on Saturday, March 14th, along with auction leagues and Main Events on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, so plan accordingly.

This league was livestreamed by Scott Jenstad and Toby Guevin on Rotowire.com and it once again had a large audience. We expect to have a similar livestream again in 2026.

David Einhorn won his first NFBC Ultimate League title this year in New York to join a long list of great Ultimate League champions. The 15-Team NFBC Ultimate League was our first high-stakes private league we held as we actually held the Ultimate Draft League and the Ultimate Auction League at the very same time during our second season of 2005.
