Thanks for all of you with the guts to wager with me...it proved very fruitful for you in 2007.
Congratulations to Steve (Nevadaman) for taking down the 3000 stones! Matt Holiday is a stud. (Thanks for handling the transaction Captain Hook!)
Congrats to "Q" for taking down 300 stones. I picked the wrong year to bet against A-Rod. Please PM me your mailing address.
Congrats to "KJ Duke" for taking down 250 stones for the same wager. I'll need your mailing address as well. (I can't recall who had whom...but Reynolds won your secondary hedge.)
Congrats to Dan Kenyon...what a silly bet in retrospect...but I'm a gamer, and will be happy to run it back next year! Like the Raptors in Jurassic Park...I'm a learning animal! I'd love to settle with you now, as I hate to owe anyone "100 stones"...PM me your address if you wish. We'll meet up in Vegas for a laugh either way!
Congrats to UFS for beating me, and thanks to your ego for allowing me a wash! According to my wager log...we had 100 stones for who finished ahead of whom in our league, and you had another 100 that I would NOT finish in the top 10 in our league...so we washed. Like Willy Wonka so eloquently said toward the end of his movie...
"YOU...GET...NOTHING!"
That would have been the worst wager to pay off. I enjoy our friendly rivalry...and will LOVE to take your money in future wagers!
Great year to you all!
~Lance

Not my ego Lance.
I felt bad for you and wanted to give you a second chance.
The team you drafted was really bad.
You did make some nice pickups (C.Pena), so kudos for making 9th by 2 pts.

Will check-in next spring with the side bet opps with you Lance - I like to give my conquered a round 2 chance to breakeven, or dig themselves deeper ...
Howard did have a nice bounceback after a slow start to at least gather some respectability.

I was closer to beating you (9 points to tie you)than losing our second bet. (11 points from 11th place tie.)

I trust you cut and pasted my PM.
I'd like you to tell me how you remember phrasing the 2nd side bet...YOU offered it.
Nice hushing up on my error...shows a bit about yourself.

Just confirming if you wanted a $100 bet on my final LV4 league placement.
I finish 1st thru 9th...I win $100.00
I finish 10th thru 15th...You win $100.00
(How I wish we drafted this weekend...two weeks prior to the season is bullshit.)

How do YOU remember offering up the bet?
I see how I wrote it in the PM.
I remember..."You won't even finish in the top 10"
I don't remember 9...but could be. Either way I would have honored it.
I'd like to hear what you remember.

~Lance I remember something like "10th or lower". Then you sent the PM. And I replied.
