New NFBC Apparel Store

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Fri Oct 12, 2007 8:06 am

If you're looking for that perfect Christmas present to buy yourself this year, go to the NFBC Store logo on the home page (lower left corner) and click there. It will take you to the Maine Thread, Rick Gromek's store that has all kinds of cool NFBC apparel that you may have seen last year at the live drafts. Rick finally has his store all set up now for online shopping and all of the shirts, hats, jackets, etc., that we showcased last year is now available in all kinds of sizes. Check it out. We have an NFFC store for the football folks, too.

Rick has also promised to provide a jacket to the winner of the 2007 NFBC leagues (live drafts) and we'll have more announcements on that soon. We'll ask for your size once we showcase the item being given away and the plan is to bring those items to each draft in March and personally award you the winning item. If you want something personalized on the jacket, we'll work with Rick to get that done and any additional cost we'll work out. THANKS RICK!!!! With any luck, this will be an annual thing with the Maine Thread and the NFBC, giving folks even more incentive to succeed.

Rick is also going to help us create a special 5th anniversary present for our valued customers who have been with us all five years. We're looking at a nice black hat with CHARTER MEMBER stitched in gold lettering on the front and an NFBC logo on the front and back that we'd give away on Draft Day. Again, we're looking into the details, but so far it looks like a cool idea. More details soon.

Good luck to all in 2008 and come dressed to kill on Draft Day!!! :D

One logo's enough Greg, this isn't NASCAR :D

I'd like to see team names on back - there are guys you compete against all the time, meet at the events, but often times you don't connect the two. Of course, that bit of customization will drive your cost up too.

Thanks, Greg and Rick. It sounds cool and I can tell my wife I finally "won" something!

;)
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

If someone wanted extra personalization on the hats and it cost $3-$5 extra, they can pick up the cost and settle with me on Draft Day. No problem at all. Rick is excited to do this for us, so I think it's all good. We'll make this work for everyone and hopefully the hats will last until our 10th year of NFBC!!!

I just did a head count and I think we have about 100 of the original 195 owners in through four years. So this could be a select group that will be easily recognizable by their special NFBC hats.

Just to further the celebration, let's have these wily veterans all draft together in their own leagues. :D They can re-live their five years together and talk about old times during the draft. :D

The rest of us will try to carry on as best we can. ;) :D

Just letting you guys know, I will be checking these boards for any questions you might have. Take a look at our online store and let me know what you think or throw out some ideas of what apparel you'd like to see the NFBC logo on. We just got our shopping cart up and running so let me know if you see any problems.

Email me with questions or just post here. I do not have internet at my house till late next week, so can only check boards during day.
