Off Season Sportswire

I take my comedy anywhere I can find it and today it was on the sportswire.

The Padres are said to be interested in a pitcher from Japan. His name is Kaz Fukumori. Fukumori? I didn't know I was using Japanese to describe some of my players performances last year. Hecklers at Padres games will have a field day with this guy and he's gonna think they're just mispronouncing his name. :D :D

Another item that caught my eye is the Rockies interest in signing Steve Trachsel.

Trachsel at Coors?

Fukumori!

Any day that Trachsel pitches at Coors there should be a minutes silence before the game for his fielders. Pitching Trachsel at Coors will be like throwing a molotof cocktail through the window of a fireworks factory, it should be great sport to watch.
