NFBC Magazine Champions League
Well, it's that time of year again as we're working on our first baseball issue of Fantasy Sports Magazine and we're ready to run some mock drafts. I'd like to feature 15 NFBC league champs in our first issue and run an NFBC league that will pay the league champ a $500 satellite league entry in 2009. Are you game?
Here's the rules:
We'll draft on Tuesday, Dec. 18th at 7 p.m. EST
30 rounds, same rules as NFBC
We are looking for 15 NFBC champs from 2007 who are signed up for the 2008 NFBC
We'll feature the draft picks in the magazine, do a nice writeup and run the league for this. It's a winner-take-all league that should be a lot of fun.
If you're interested in competing, post here or e-mail me at [email protected]. If we fill up before you find out about this, don't worry as we'll do another NFBC Draft in our second issue and I'll get you in that one. Okay, let the signups begin.

I won't take a slot in the magazine leagues, but I have plans for an NFBC Content Panel again this year and will hopefully pull that plan off yet. When I get that together, I'll create another Content Panel league and be in that again. That was a blast last year and even though I only finished sixth, I had a BLAST with that league. That WILL be back.

Greg I would think winning the mags champs league by 30 pts would qualify me- don't let that half point out of first in the main event scare you away.

I would love a chance to get some revenge on Perry for winning the Mag II league last season....plus I want to show Kent how easy it would be to beat him by loading my team with Rays players!
Sign me up Greg.

If I were a champion I would beg for a spot, but I am just a lowly rookie. If nobody else steps up I will fill the last spot Greg!

If you run out of 07 champions, Tu La Daddy won in 06. Sadly I was a lowly 4th place finisher this past year.
Anyhow, I would also be interested if there is in an opening Greg.

We won two leagues in 2007 and would be interested. Count the Bronx Beans in if a spot is still available. Thanks.

Okay, we're full for this league. I'll get this set up on MDC and e-mail all of you the URL sometime next week. Should be fun and be ready to draft on the 18th. Your results will be posted in the first issue of Fantasy Sports Magazine, so be prepared. Thanks all.

3RR for baseball?? Hmmm, do you think it's needed?
