NFBC Message Boards

Okay, I just realized we have two pages open for our first baseball issue of Fantasy Sports Magazine and I thought I'd use it for a 12-team mixed auction league mock draft. I know the NFBC runs 15-team mixed auction leagues, but because of time constraints I'd like to see if we can do a 12-teamer. I'm short on time before our press deadline, so unfortunately I'd have to do this on Wednesday, Dec. 26th at 6 p.m. EST.



Tom and I can take teams if needed, but if you have any interest in doing this on MockDraftCentral.com and you're free next Wednesday, sign up here. I'll get it set up. It definitely would help if you've been familiar with FantasyAuctioneer.com and have a computer that can handle this because problems can occur. I don't think we'll play this one out, but it could still be fun.

Awesome. Good start. If we can fill this up this weekend, I'll send the info to George at FantasyAuctioneer.com and we'll get invites to everyone. But plan on doing this on Wednesday and even if the invite doesn't come until Monday morning we'll know we're doing this together. Should be fun.



Now I have to tell the kids I'm working late on the day after Christmas!! Oh well.

We are filling our 23 starting spots with $260 and not adding reserves. We will not play out this league, but draft hard!!! See ya there.

Everybody should have received an e-mail invite to the site and your passwords were already set up. If you have any troubles, contact George at his support e-mail that he sent. This should be fun.



Realize that top stars in a mixed auction league will go for high dollar. Be ready to outbid me!!!



You can hit the +$1 button once the opening bid is entered, but be careful. Sometimes someone else may type in a higher number and your +$1 is one dollar more than something you didn't expect. But for the most part, that feature works great.



If everyone opens the bidding on players at a reasonable level, we'll finish this auction in no time. Please be prepared to throw out a player with a solid opening bid when it's your turn and then we'll keep this thing rolling. Stay on your toes and be ready because Tom and I are prepared to rock.

I did not recieve an email for set up. Sorry for the late check-in. Just got back from holidays, but prepared and ready to go!

I believe the auction room opens up one hour before the start of the draft. I just went to my link now and nothing was open, but I called FantasyAuctioneer.com and they told me to wait a few minutes. I'll see ya there.
