Each week, we'll showcase show some of the top FAAB pickups in each league so that everyone can stay up to speed with some of the new acquisitions. Here's the going rate in each NFBC league for the most sought-after free agents:



Chicago League 1: BUCKEYEBO had the high bid this week in this league, paying $103 for Casey Kotchman 103. vultures paid $83 for Doug Mientkiewicz, while Dixie Walkers paid $82 for Bronson Arroyo, BUCKEYEBO paid $65 for Aquilino Lopez 65, CARPE DIEM paid $50 for Jeremy Bonderman 50, BUCKEYEBO paid $44 for Bill Hall 44 and Dixie Walkers paid $42 for Doug Davis. Other high bids this week were Razor Shines Last Fan paying $37 for Scot Shields; INDY GATORS paying $22 for Ty Wigginton; Bambinos paying $22 for Wes Helms and Big Mac Attack paying $20 for Terrmel Sledge.



Chicago League 2: Meshuggana Lolligaggers paid $127 for Felix Rodriguez to record the high bid this week. DFW Rough Riders paid $111 for Edgardo Alfonzo, while Drafthelp Noys of Summer paid $110 for Doug Davis 110 and $105 for John Patterson 105. Sabersmack paid $76 for Nate Robertson 76, while Meshuggana Lolligaggers paid $57 for David Riske, Drafthelp Noys of Summer paid $55 for Claudio Vargas 55, Shenanigans paid $54 for Daryle Ward 54, Sabersmack paid $42 for Brandon Larson 42 and CREATiVESPORTS Gawron paid $33 for Ben Broussard. Other high bids this week were Dante's Screamers paying $27 for Justin Huisman 27; Team Florczak paying $26 for Scot Shields and $25 for Jose Castillo 25; Sabersmack paying $25 for Daniel Cabrera and BobCats paying $20 for Eric DuBose.



Chicago League 3: Superpions had the high bid, shelling out $228 for Casey Kotchman, while Team Pike paid $212 for Matt Mantei, $128 for Tim Worrell and $110 for Nate Field. Worst Russian Ever paid $89 for Bronson Arroyo 89 and Mysty Dog's Wildpack LBS paid $79 for Ruben Sierra 79. Other high bids this week were Worst Russian Ever paying $47 for Luis Rivas; Team RotoWire paying $47 for Tim Redding and Superpions paying $46 for Brett Myers.



New York League 1: Ball Five had the high bid this week, paying $254 for Bronson Arroyo. Dynasty paid $127 for Mike Hampton, while TOWNIES paid $110 for Tim Worrell, Kings of Queens paid $82 for Willie Harris and www.ROTOBOWL.com paid $77 for David Riske. Other high bids this week were DREAM TEAM paying $41 for Brian Schneider; Kings of Queens paying $33 for Tim Redding; Tuna Kings paying $31 for Justin Huisman and 100 LARGE AND IN CHARGE paying $21 for Scott Hatteberg.



New York League 2: Kingman-Millan Gambit had the top two high bids, paying $268 for Tim Worrell and $107 for Bronson Arroyo. LaJolla Lux paid $104 for Chris Carpenter, while Kingman-Millan Gambit paid $62 for Reed Johnson, Team qqq paid $59 for Luis A. Gonzalez, LaJolla Lux paid $46 for Tim Redding and Roenicke-Lowenstein paid $33 for Paul Wilson. New York League 3: Heads had the high bid, paying $300 for Daryle Ward 300. Gonzalez and $57 for Casey Fossum. New York League 4: Go The Distance had the high bid, paying $78 for Bronson Arroyo. BARNSTORMERS paid $55 for Rob Mackowiak, while Kings of Swing paid $52 for Felix Rodriguez, ROTOWORLD.COM paid $38 for Justin Huisman 38, We have Midas paid $33 for Brett Myers and Ya Gotta Believe paid $33 for Tom Gordon. New York League 5: Dyv & Espo’s $137 bid for Placido Polanco was the high bid this week. Team Fox paid $132 for Bronson Arroyo, while Team Conti paid $102 for Tim Worrell, Dyv & Espo paid $53 for Omar Vizquel and Team Conti paid $51 for Jerry Hairston Jr. Other high bids this week were Dyv & Espo paying $39 for Darin Erstad and Team Conti paying $21 for Brett Myers.



Las Vegas League 1: Wiseguy Baseball paid $211 for Brett Myers to record the high bid in this league this week.
