[/QUOTE]Gek, while you and Shawn debate who's the top fantasy baseball player (and I encourage you to call Terry, Dan or Rick and make it a 3, 4, or 5-way), I'm busy preparing to move up 25 another spots in the ranking this season which will make it a moot point.

In fact, I would like to start a new satellite next season, the Duke Invitational, for the NFBC's top 15 finishers this season, and if anyone can't make it we'll just work down the list and get the top 15 willing players. So who's gonna join me in the top 15 this season, besides Shawn of course?

you know i am in duke!!! RT

but before you get ahead of yourself, if you are going to call it the kj duke initational you have to finish in the top 15 right?? i say its more likely its the RoundTripper invitational!!!

odds on top 15 finish

childs 6-1 while knowledgeable alot on plate this year, like a job!!

gekko 15-1 rumor has it last year was a fluke

kj duke 12-1, the due theory

haney 10-1, past winners seem to struggle in following years

didonato 6-1, a perenial at the top and leading money winner hard to argue

thomas 7-1, a strong history

gillis 17-1, seems to struggle in main event

zaleski 20-1, used alot of good karma in foots maybe not much left for bases

mclean 13-1, an up and coming force, only 3rd year doing bases, rides a strong 07, research fanatic

childs 6-1 while knowledgeable alot on plate this year, like a job!! agreed, if he ever falls out of the top 15 this could be the year

gekko 15-1 rumor has it last year was a fluke I don't believe the rumor, but a modest backslide is possible

kj duke 12-1, the due theory the foundation has been built from the ground up, it's time to close

haney 10-1, past winners seem to struggle in following years I go back to year 1 when Haney beat me in the NL auction on the last day, next season I blew him away. He's better as the underdog! :D

didonato 6-1, a perenial at the top and leading money winner hard to argue where was he last season?

thomas 7-1, a strong history you need to adopt Child's philosophy and focus all your energy on the main!

gillis 17-1, seems to struggle in main event first step is the top 50, then we'll see about 09

zaleski 20-1, used alot of good karma in foots maybe not much left for bases very true, and now he has WallaWallaGate to contend with  George Mitchell is lurking right around the corner.

mclean 13-1, an up and coming force, only 3rd year doing bases, rides a strong 07, research fanatic and I saw her lucky dog in the mag, luck and skill is the combo you need

other odds

G Morgan 7-1 two-sport mr. consistency

kenyon 10-1 ... but is the youth movement catching up?

jupinka 15-1 faded down the stretch in 07, if he comes into camp in better shape he might not wear down in September

My lifetime record doesn't reflect the fact that, at some point during the season, I have reached the Top 10 overall in three out of the last four years. Finishing has always been a problem, but I think I have a solution to that in 2008.

I plan on being in that KJDuke Invitational -- don't give away my seat just yet! :D
