I am new to the NFBC and would like to know a general ballpark figure on what total would usually be good for a finish in the top 3 in all of the categories. Just trying to figure out what stats I need to obtain to have a balanced team. Any help would be great.

Every league is different, but here are some third place finishes in a league that would allow you to target either a little higher than that or lower than that. Again, these were third place totals from a league I just looked up from last year. Use these as your benchmarks and adjust accordingly:
.283 average
1,140 runs
289 homers
1,120 RBI
166 SBs
4.000 WHIP
100 wins
1.300
1,210 Ks
80 saves

Greg:
Can you tell me what players to draft to achieve these targets? Thank You.

Thanks for the benchmarks Greg.
Not even Doug Davis could achieve a WHIP that high...Perhaps Ankiel when he used to pitch?
