I would like to see a little looser player eligibility rules for next year. Of course I would also like to see my team at the top of the standings but thus far it's not happening. I like the 20 games at a position the previous year but 5, or even 10, games during the current year would make things a little more interesting. Yes, I am a Morneau owner.

We will certainly take feedback on all potential rule changes. If there is enough groundswell for a change like in-season eligibility, I'm all for it. You are correct, 20 games at a new position is stringent but that's the purpose of it. Personally, I think five is too few but 10 shows a person has been counted on enough to handle that position. But I'm all for listening to everyone's input on this rule and other rules.

Obviously, the rule affects us all the same so I guess it really doesn't matter. I would be interested in hearing some other opinions on it though. I have never played in a league where 20 was required in the current season to be eligible, but this league is certainly different from all the others.

I definitely would be in favor of changing the in-season eligibility to 10 games. That seems to be a fair balance.

I also like the 10 games for current year rule. I'd also like to see 10 games from Nomar this season before the damn season's over!

IMO, 5 is enough, but 10 is much better than 20

10 in season is fine. I think the piece on eligibility that REALLY needs addresses is prior season eligibility. If a player does not play at least 20 games at any one position, then it should just be based on most games played at the prior positions.
Our current rules kill us on rookies / players who were up for a cup of coffee the prior season. So we get penalized the following season for it, which should not be the case. No one should EVER have to be considered UTILITY only eligible unless they were/are a DH.

Let's keep the "little kids" off the message boards next year by requiring a name or team name in the profile. If someone wants to talk trash, at least they will be required to have the balls to put their reputation on the line rather than hiding behind a lame moniker.

I met a number of quality people at the draft. It is a shame that I did not meet 14 of the owners in NY2.

You keep bragging about "how you tell it like it is". Then why don't you have the guts to tell it like it is and give us your league and team name? You tell it like it is when it meets your needs and that's it. You talk about free speech and most of us look at your lame entries as free ignorance.

How about a prize for the Leader at the All Star Break and a restart for a 2nd half overall Leader?
Category leader awards with Triple Crowns, Quintuplet and Decatron(lead all 10.) Carryovers of course.
A little something for the first two NO NO's and also for a Perfecto would be cool. Pitcher must be active and of course carryovers.
Just some thoughts...
