It has been a crazy year with significant injuries to key players. Chavez is only the latest casualty, thanks to Damaso Marte wasting an 0-2 pitch inside. I had projected Chavez to go .285 34 hrs 110 rbis 15 sbs and drafted him in the 2nd round. I guess you can now subtract 13 hrs, 35 rbis and 5 sbs. It will be difficult to make up for his production during the next 2 months, so I have empathy for my 12 other colleagues that have him.

I have Chavez also and drafted him in round 2 right after making Prior my first pick. It has been a tough year...........

I also can't recall so many players getting injured. Our team lost Halladay, Ibanez and Harang to the DL this week....adding to our injured bench of Garrett Anderson, Wagner, Mench and Adam Laroche. 7 Players on the DL....that's tough to stomach....and real tough to compete in a league like this one.

No Roids = more players hurt
Goes to show that luck plays a major role in determining where your team finishes.
