Judy, Ethel and Lucy

There's been some discussion on these boards recently of what to call players that have somewhat more power than a Judy. Lance suggested calling such a player an Ethel, while someone else suggested Lucy.

Well, flipping through the XM Radio dial yesterday, I stumbled upon the Ethel channel (47) which plays New Alternative music. Then further of the dial (54) was the Lucy channel, which plays 90's Alternative music. There is a Fred channel (44), but alas, no Judy.

I periodically listen to Lucy on Directv....down in the 800's. It take's me back to Jr. High/H.S.

If I remember right Lance came up with Lucy's as well.

Pierre, Tavares, Bourn, D.Roberts type are Judy

Figgins, Victorino, Ichiro are Ethel

Maybe Crawford is a Lucy?

Figgy offers up 3b positioning and possibly more by the end of the year. Its hard to categorize a SS in one of these columns or even BRoberts for that matter. A good start though.
