I knew I fell into the trap this year. Just like with Santana last year. Santana had his worst year in recent memory. Same goes for Miggy.

The guy signed a monster contract, but yet he's afraid of "being the man"? Hitting 5th EVEN WITH SHEFFIELD OUT!!??!! man, what a puzzy!

I know it is early but the Tigers are pathetic. They are about to get swept back to back by the White Sox and Royals. Ouch.....



My condolences to anyone with Tiger pitchers...it could be a long year.

"If luck weren't involved, I guess I'd win every one." I'm guessing, although Santana had a "poor" year by his standards, your WHIP, ERA, Wins, and K's would all of been significantly less (in points), and you most likely wouldn't even been in the top 20-30 overall.



He was an anchor, that like you have said, "gives you a lot of room in 4 categories".

WOW! I'm amazed that people are so down on Miggy already, trade him to me I think A-Rod will still be the bust based on who he was taken over (D.Wright)!

i was reading before the draft about miggy not being able to handle being "the man". him signing this big contract probably has him in line for a .260-.270 season with 25 homerums.



if only braun didn't come down with that "achilles" injury right before the draft, he woulda been mine. i didn't have the guts to take an unproven guy with a possible injury. i tried to take the "money in the bank" player and look where it got me. F'ing disgusting.

Marathon...not a sprint. Anyone want to put Miggy out on the FA pool, I imagine there would be a few bidders, if Greg left him out there.

I think you're inflating his HR totals. I have him down as a poor mans Beltre, with less power. 22-80 .295. Not bad, but not first round material.

avg down to .118 with 2 GIDP. the pressure will keep mounting on the kid and he doesn't have the skills to cope with it. A LONG LONG YEAR for anyone drafting him. enough said about this albatross.

Seems like I was the only one saying Cabrera wasn't 1st round material in March, not to mention that the ballpark was going to hurt and the Tigers offense wouldn't be all that and a bag of chips. Can I get a witness?
