Barry Zito still offers a little hope while stealing his money. Matt Morris is just plain stealing.



Justin Verlander has hit six players with a pitch this year, no other pitcher has hit more than three.



Carl Crawford had one bunt for a basehit last year.



Minnesota has two players with multiple home runs and another two players with one home run. That is all for their home run production.



Ryan Zimmerman is hitting .038 with runners in scoring position. Last in the majors.



Roy Oswalt leads the majors with seven gopher balls.



Troy Tulowitzki just signed a contract with Louisville Slugger....Do the bats come with holes in them?

Take heart Tulo owners, last year at this time Tulo was hitting .193 with no home runs...sound familiar?



Last and least, Bengie Molina rocked Bill James world and scored from second on a single last Sunday.

Whats the big deal, you say? It was the first time in two years that this Molina has accomplished the feat. The third base coach said that it was the first time he could remember windmilling Molina. One of the players said he looked like Tommy LaSorda running after a pizza.

I seem to remember Molina getting thrown out trying to turn a triple into a double last week so I wouldn't start counting on him for stolen bases quite yet. Great quote about the pizza.

They do. Fairly certain I used a Troy Tuholeitski softball bat last weekend.
