Hanley Ramirez signs a long term contract with the Marlins. 70 million over six years. What a bargain for the Marlins. The best signing for a club in memory.

Almost a crime that Barry Zito will be making almost twice as much money as Hanley during the next six years. Just curious, if Zito is released, he will be owed around 100 million, does anyone know the most money owed a player when released?

Neagle comes to mind with the most expensive oral sex in history, Morris had 10 million for the year, anybody else?

Didn't Juan Gonzalez make $10 million or so in Cleveland for 1 AB a few years ago?

Something that's crazy, I'm pretty sure Carlos Delgado is now the 2nd highest paid Marlin after this contract.

The Rockies haven't signed an expensive free agent since. Those bad signings kill, especially pitchers.

What was Albert Belle's take when he had to retire?
I feel like I'm the Jerry Quarry of the NFBC.
