Articles like this are fantasy gold. (or gamblers gold)
Nice to hear some blunt critisizm of the lack of hustle, "stale and stagnant" clubhouse, etc.

that was an innerestin' article...can't believe Cabrera didn't have any inclination to look at some video of a pitcher he's never seen before (esp one as good as Haren).
makes me thankful the only Tiger I got is Inge...and only picked him up b/c I'm hoping he becomes catcher eligible, plus he actually seems to give a damn!

Great article. Some of the principles involved seem to have the work ethic of a bunch of illegal aliens in a crack house after winning a lottery!

Good stuff Lance.
It's why I like gamers like Kinsler and Young and their possible influence on Josh this year. So far, so good.

I think you need to keep in mind how writers color their article. One: it is a subjective statement. He didn't see them watching it; they might remember it differently. Two: it is an instant in time. That video could have been on for hours. The players could have studied it intensely earlier or later, but that information may not have been witnessed by the writer or even if it was, it didn't exactly go with his angle. Good to be a critical reader in these situations. I don't buy that professional players don't do the basics--Tigers or no.
