We have Don Mathis as the first signup in the Don Mathis Mid-Season League, which is always a good sign. :D Thanks for the early signups everyone. We'll try to fill up one league of each offering and move on from there and obviously won't hit any credit cards until July 1st or any league is full. We just need commitments now, not money. :D

Okay, the mid-season satellite league list has been updated over the weekend. The REgistration links aren't active on your MY TEAMS pages yet, so just post here or e-mail me if you want to be listed anywhere. First-come, first-served on each league.

Just a rules update too: The $250 Don Mathis League is the only one that uses first half stats. Here's how we do that: The lineup you submit for Week 1 (which actually starts on the Thursday after the All-Star Game) is the one that calculates the first half stats. So the 23 guys you have in your starting lineup for that week counts towards your first half stats. So make sure you put in your best 23 first half players that week and then after that you just accumulate stats during the second half and add those stats to your first half stats. I like this format a lot and I hope we can fill this one up again.

Minimum innings pitched will be the same for this league as the others. Right now it's 350 or half of our 700 IP for our full season leagues. I'll officially rule on that soon.

Can you sign me up for the $250 league on Wednesday night July 16th? If this league doesn't fill up, then you can switch me to either the $250 mon or tues night league.

is there any chance the $1,000 league fills up or should I just join the $500 league...? Greg, any history to back up the $1,000 league filling up?

We've had a $1,000 mid-season league every year and in fact had two the first year. I can get you in the $500 if the $1,000 fails, but I hope next week is a good week for signups. The mid-season leagues are getting NO love this year. Maybe as we get closer to the break, things will change. We'll see.

Come on guys, lets fill up the Don Mathis League.

This is a league that really focuses on your drafting abilities because the first half stats of your first starting lineup count (23 players).

That is the only difference from our regular leagues.

I think if you try it you will like it and just because it is named after me doesn't mean you can't beat me just that you PROBABLY CAN'T.

After all, I am numbur 357 lifetime.
