Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

Well, "Loser" Utley did not have a hit again yesterday. Some lame excuse like "My team didn't have a game." They were playing baseball SOMEWHERE, right? He should have suited up. He is just dogging it I guess.
Just FYI, we recently viewed several events of such epic rarity, that I have come to believe we are truly approaching the end of days:
1) The KC Royals won five in a row...on the ROAD! You know the team? The one starting future Hall-of-Famers like Grudzielanek, Gload, (actually, it is hard to break into their starting line-up if your name does not begin with "G") and Aviles.
2) Tampa Bay Rays are beating teams not named "Orioles", and just swept the team with the best record in baseball!
3) The team with the best record in baseball is the CHICAGO CUBS!
4) Prince Fielder hit his SECOND career inside-the-park homerun.
5) In a country sitting on more oil reserves than Saudia Arabia, Iran, Iraq, U.A.E., Kuwait, and Venezuala COMBINED, I can get a stadium beer for under $10, but I cannot buy three gallons of gas for the same amount.
Drink your beer, spend your money, tell off your boss. You may as well! What have you got to lose?
