Each week, we'll showcase some of the top FAAB pickups in each league so that everyone can stay up to speed with some of the new acquisitions. Here's the going rate in each NFBC league for the most sought-after free agents:

Chicago League 1: Bambinos had the high bid in this league this week, paying $56 for Kevin Mench. Other high bids were The Cableguy paying $26 for Pete Munro; 1000 Benjamins paying $26 for Kazuhito Tadano; BUCKEYEBO paying $21 for Kenny Lofton and Howdogs paying $21 for Daniel Cabrera.

Chicago League 2: Dante's Screamers paid $70 for Rodrigo Lopez for this league’s high bid. DFW Rough Riders paid $59 apiece for Miguel Cairo and Nick Green, $39 for Kazuhito Tadano and $29 for Mike Wood. Other high bids were Frank the Tank paying $26 for Damian Miller; Dante's Screamers paying $25 for Tike Redman and Mastering the Flow paying $22 for Aaron Boone.

Chicago League 3: Superpions paid $74 for Wily Mo Pena and Team Esposito paid $30 for David Newhan for the high bids in this league.

New York League 1: Sunshine Boys paid $41 for David Newhan for the high bid in this league.

New York League 2: Kingman-Millan Gambit’s $68 bid for Luis Rivas was the high bid this week. Meanwhile, Harlem Hangover paid $67 for Wilson Alvarez, Roenicke-Lowenstein paid $60 for Bobby Higginson and Kingman-Millan Gambit paid $58 for Wes Helms. Other high bids were Team qqq paying $48 for David Newhan and LaJolla Lux paying $21 for Aaron Boone.

New York League 3: Balto. Boys paid $57 for Ty Wigginton for the week’s high bid. New York Yankees paid $45 for Nick Green, while Team Ross paid $40 for Wilson Alvarez and LEADERBOARD BIG APPLE paid $31 for Doug Mirabelli. Other high bids were Disco Jiggy paying $28 for David Newhan; LaJolla LaV paying $24 for Victor Santos; Showtime paying $23 for Aaron Cook and New York Yankees paying $21 for Ruben Sierra.

New York League 4: Ya Gotta Believe had the high bid, paying $60 for Ramon Hernandez. Go The Distance paid $47 for Brett Tomko, while Ya Gotta Believe paid $44 for Wilson Alvarez. Other high bids were Quahogs paying $25 for Ryan Bukvich; The Chameleons paying $22 for Doug Mientkiewicz and Quahogs paying $21 for Wily Mo Pena.

New York League 5: Supply-siders had the high bid, paying $56 for Eric Young. Other high bids were CALS CREW paying $31 for Kenny Lofton and Team Conti paying $30 for Kazuhito Tadano and $25 for David Newhan.

Las Vegas League 1: SportsBuff.com had the high bid, paying $113 for Kevin Millar.

Las Vegas League 2: The Perfect Obsession paid $53 for Bobby Higginson for this week’s high bid. Other high bids were Kazu & Tre & 105K paying $31 for David Newhan and RotoPlay.com paying $21 for Joe Kennedy.

Las Vegas League 3: Appleton Hays paid $44 for Victor Santos and $42 for Craig Counsell for the top two high bids. CREATiVESPORTS (Buster) paid $37 for Wes Helms and $27 for Daniel Cabrera. Other high bids were Curt Flood Love paying $23 for Wilson Alvarez and PezSox paying $21 apiece for Eli Marrero and Tim Salmon.

Las Vegas League 4: FresnoFanatics paid $40 for Mike Wood for the week’s high bid. Other high bids were Fort Lauderdale Tides paying $39 for David Bush; Johnny Walker Reds paying $22 apiece for Terrmel Sledge and Adam LaRoche and NADER'S RAIDERS paying $21 for Omar Infante.

Las Vegas League 5: The Slugs had the high bid, paying $61 for Brett Myers. Other high bids were Crazy Zefurs paying $52 for David Newhan and The Four Perps paying $20 for Humberto Quintero.
