Idea to Supplement NFBC Main Event

In response to Greg's call for suggestions, here's one:
A winner's circle league
Summary: Take the top 15 league champions from the main event based on overall scores and put them into a high-profile, winner-take-all league the following season. The winner's circle league champion would receive a significant cash prize and an automatic invitation to the following year's winner's circle league.
Specific Points:
1. This league would be a high profile, high prestige league because each of the owners would have to earn his/her invitation. It could truly be considered and promoted as the ultimate expert's league.
2. Those owners qualifying for the winner's circle would not pay any entry fee. The cash prize could be an additional promotional amount, or the main event prize structure could be altered to make prize money available.
3. I would advocate that any invitee be not only a top overall scorer in the main event, but also be the champion of their individual league. However, I understand the argument for taking the top 15 (14 after the first year) overall scores from the main.
