Each week, we'll showcase some of the top FAAB pickups in each league so that everyone can stay up to speed with some of the new acquisitions. Here's the going rate in each NFBC league for the most sought-after free agents:

Chicago League 1: The Cableguy had the high bid, paying $46 for Endy Chavez. Razor Shines Last Fan paid $37 for Edwin Jackson, while Dixie Walkers paid $34 for Grant Balfour. Other high bids were BUCKEYEBO paid $25 for Sean Burnett; The Cableguy paid $23 for Wily Mo Pena; FUPayMe paid $22 for Keith Ginter and Big Mac Attack paid $20 for David Newhan.

Chicago League 2: CREATiVESPORTS Gawron had the high bid of $60 for Josh Phelps to pace the week. Frank the Tank paid $53 for Charles Thomas and $52 for Keith Ginter. Other high bids were Da Leaderboard paid $30 for Jarrod Washburn; CREATiVESPORTS Gawron paid $30 for Derek Lowe; Triple Threat paid $27 for Michael Tucker and BobCats paid $25 for John Lackey.

Chicago League 3: cheers had the high bid this week, paying $20 for Alex Gonzalez.

New York League 1: DREAM TEAM had the high bid this week, paying $44 for Wily Mo Pena. Other high bids were 100 LARGE AND IN CHARGE paying $41 for Jayson Werth and Kings of Queens paying $39 for Ryan Bukvich.

New York League 2: JUNIOR's Seniors had the high bids, paying $189 for Wily Mo Pena and $129 for Mark Bellhorn. Other high bids this week were Ride the Puffins paying $27 for Vicente Padilla, while Philly CheeseSteaks paid $22 for Jon Garland.

New York League 3: LaJolla LaV had the high bid with a $117 bid for Alex Gonzalez. Other high bids this week were AD and the Guru paying $61 for Wily Mo Pena, $41 for Carlos Silva and $21 for Kenny Lofton, while We Go Now paid $21 for Charles Thomas.

New York League 4: The Chameleons had the high bids, paying $37 for Frank Catalanotto and $36 for Charles Thomas. Other high bids were We have Midas paying $32 for Orlando Hernandez; Moneymaker paying $20 for Shigetoshi Hasegawa and We have Midas paying $20 for Mike Wood.

New York League 5: East Coast Schwag had the high bid, paying $212 for Orlando Hernandez, while Cartinals paid $211 for Sean Burnett. Other high bids were Money Bags paying $78 for Luis Terrero and Supply-siders paying $28 for Ricardo Rodriguez.

Las Vegas League 1: Blind Threesome had the high bid this week, paying $16 for Wily Mo Pena.

Las Vegas League 2: Hankerchiefs had the high bid, paying $110 for Wily Mo Pena. Other high bids were Reno Bulldogs paying $41 for Kenny Lofton; Smoky Mtn. Oysters paying $29 for Jeff DaVanon; Tres Hombres paying $26 for Kyle Lohse and Welcome to Stevieland paying $26 for J.T. Snow.

Las Vegas League 3: Appleton Hays paid $68 for Jason Johnson for this week’s high bid. Other high bids were WEIRD SCIENCE paying $67 for Wily Mo Pena and chicken dinner paying $55 for Josh Phelps and $35 for Sean Burnett.

Las Vegas League 4: CC's Desperados (Draft) had the high bid, paying $76 for Jayson Werth. Wise Guy Baseball paid $52 for Kirk Saarloos, while CC's Desperados (Draft) paid $44 for Marlon Byrd and NADER'S RAIDERS paid $40 for Brandon Inge. Other high bids were Team Shairson paying $28 for Daryle Ward and TBill's Desert Scorn paying $21 for Ricardo Rodriguez.

Las Vegas League 5: gigglin marlin had the high bid with a $318 bid for Ricardo Rodriguez. Crazy Zefurs paid $54 for Matt Holliday, while gigglin marlin paid $52 for Sean Burroughs. Other high bids were Crazy Zefurs paying $33 for J.T. Snow and Aaron Harang and gigglin marlin paying $23 for Eric Young.
