Draft Champions League = fun

These are fun leagues if anyone is interested in playing next year. You draft 45 players and that is your team for the entire year. Unlike the football DC league, you make changes each week.



I focused on pitching in the draft because I always wanted to have 9 healthy bodies available to pitch. Mission accomplished but my lack of hitting depth cost me when Keppinger and Aybar went down and Asdrubal Cabrera, Nix, and Billy Butler were sent to the minors.



Catching has been an adventure all year with Josh Bard, Mike Napoli, Jesus Flores, and Chris Coste, but at any given time I've had two live bodies to play there.



That is a flavor for the strategy that makes this league fun.



Some teams have been crippled by injuries but I think that is the exception rather than the norm.



I am currently in second place behind Quahogs.
