Week 17 FAAB Bids

Each week, we'll showcase some of the top FAAB pickups in each league so that everyone can stay up to speed with some of the new acquisitions. Here's the going rate in each NFBC league for the most sought-after free agents:



Chicago League 1: 1000 Benjamins had the high bid this week, paying $79 for Morgan Ensberg. Cashin In paid $75 for Frank Thomas, while Dixie Walkers paid $63 for Tim Wakefield. Other high bids this week were Crosley Field Nash,Young paying $33 for Larry Bigbie; FUPayMe paying $26 for Mark Redman and $22 for Grady Sizemore and Howdogs paying $20 for Zach Day.



Chicago League 2: Mastering the Flow paid $102 for Morgan Ensberg for this league’s high bid. Shenanigans paid $83 for Jason Christiansen, while Mastering the Flow paid $65 for David Wright and Team Florczak paid $44 for Brandon Claussen and $38 for Scott Erickson. Other high bids were Frank the Tank paying $36 for Marcus Thames; Mastering the Flow paying $35 for Grady Sizemore and Antioch Apocalypse paying $34 for Kazuhito Tadano.



Chicago League 3: Team Esposito had the high bid, paying $59 for David Wright. Other high bids were Superpions paying $46 for Brandon Claussen and cheers paying $36 for Orlando Hernandez.



New York League 1: Dynasty had the high bid, paying $301 for David Wright. Meanwhile, AMAZINS paid $71 for Tim Worrell, while On The DL paid $52 for Alex Gonzalez and MotownPhilly paid $47 for Dustin Hermanson. Other high bids were Kings of Queens paying $45 for Jason Christiansen, $38 for Kazuhito Tadano and $36 for Karim Garcia; On The DL paying $32 for Gerald Laird and 100 LARGE AND IN CHARGE paying $26 for Tony Clark.



New York League 2: Jersey Bombers had the high bid, paying $151 for Grady Sizemore. Ride the Puffins paid $71 for David Wright, while LaJolla Lux paid $46 for Joey Gathright and Kingman-Millan Gambit paid $44 for Tim Salmon. Other high bids were Roenicke-Lowenstein paying $23 for Erik Bedard and Cellar Dwellers paying $21 for Rafael Soriano.



New York League 3: AD and the Guru paid $111 for David Wright to record this week’s high bid. Team Paley paid $76 for Mark Redman, while M&M Boys paid $71 for Grady Sizemore and Team Paley paid $51 for Bill Hall. Other high bids were Disco Jiggy paying $43 for Jon Lieber and $33 for Tim Redding; MGBS109 paying $33 for Chase Utley and AD and the Guru paying $21 for Zach Day.



New York League 4: Ya Gotta Believe paid $203 for David Wright for this league’s high bid. Go The Distance paid $66 for Joe Randa, while Zachoko paid $65 for David Bush. Other high bids were The Chameleons paying $34 for Scott Spiezio; Go The Distance paying $27 for Khalil Greene and Quahogs paying $21 for Tim Redding.



New York League 5: CALS CREW had the high bid, paying $126 for David Wright. Meanwhile, East Coast Schwag paid $47 for Tony Clark and $43 for Zach Day. Other high bids were Dyv & Espo paying $37 for Tim Worrell; Team Fox paying $26 for Kazuhito Tadano and CALS CREW paying $21 apiece for Gary Matthews Jr., Jose Lima and David Bush.



Las Vegas League 1: The B-Sharps had the high bid, paying $114 for David Wright. Other high bids were OUT OF THE SHADOWS paying $73 for Erik Bedard and LB High & Mighty paying $22 for Kirk Saarloos.



Las Vegas League 2: RotoPlay.com had the high bid with a $108 bid for David Wright. RotoPlay.com also paid $61 for Brandon Claussen, while Fantasy Jungle.Com paid $53 for Jason Christiansen. Other high bids were Tres Hombres paying $38 for Scott Erickson; Reno Bulldogs paying $29 for Derek Lowe; Kazu & Tre & 105K paying $29 for Grady Sizemore; Tres Hombres paying $25 for Karim Garcia and Welcome to Stevieland paying $25 for Mike Hampton.



Las Vegas League 3: Cyclones paid $351 for David Wright for this week’s high bid. WEIRD SCIENCE paid $73 for Rafael Soriano and $72 for Mike Gonzalez, while Appleton Hays paid $56 for Adam Everett and chicken dinner paid $55 for Ken Harvey. Other high bids were Pedro and Man paying $50 for Zach Day, Curt Flood Love paying $35 for Scott Erickson; Appleton Hays paying $28 for Ruben Sierra; Curt Flood Love paying $25 for Todd Greene; chicken dinner paying $24 for Dewon Brazelton and CREATiVESPORTS (Buster) paying $21 for Brandon Claussen.



Las Vegas League 4: Edwards Kings paid $250 for David Wright to post the high bid. Fort Lauderdale Tides paid $129 for Jason Christiansen, while NADER'S RAIDERS paid $60 for Grady Sizemore. Other high bids were Wise Guy Baseball paying $27 for Karim Garcia; Fort Lauderdale Tides paying $26 for Marcus Thames; TBill's Desert Scorn paying $23 for Willie Harris; Fort Lauderdale Tides paying $23 for Brandon Claussen and Leaderboard Sports NFBC paying $21 for Greg Aquino.



Las Vegas League 5: Hell Bent For Leather paid $78 for Tim Worrell for this week’s high bid. Learning Curve paid $52 for Zach Day, while Go Bears paid $50 for Ben Broussard, TheDuds paid $41 for David Wright and Learning Curve paid $41 for Frank Catalanotto. Other high bids were Go Bears paying $39 for Alex S. Gonzalez; gigglin marlin paying $37 for Jae Weong Seo and Team O'Connor paying $33 each for Tony Graffanino and Josh Towers.
