Honestly, with the economy the way it is and everything else that is going on around here, I'll admit that this is the first time that I just don't have everything finalized at season's end. We may just roll out everything like we had last year and not add anything new. I'm still working on all of that.

Dates for 2009 NFBC:

March 20-22, 2009. Main event is Saturday, March 21st and it is March Madness again in Las Vegas.

Locations:

Las Vegas: Flamingo (we have room blocks at $189)

New York: Finalizing with the Sheraton again

Chicago: Closing in at or new the Rosemont Convention Center

We don't have a fourth location yet. Florida is our fifth best state for NFBC participation, so I'm looking there again. We may have something in Tampa as returning there makes some sense.

Online Championship???: This is tough. I need to work on this before announcing anything. I'm not sure this will work and I'm not going to add a second live event at this point. Stay tuned and thanks for everything everyone.

Mark, How many main events have you done in Las Vegas? None? Thought so! How many Auctions have you done in Las Vegas? none? Thought so. Until you swim with the sharks in Las Vegas you'll never be able to say a word to me. Get on the front line or hide in NY. Your choice.

Vegas players claim everywhere else is weak, thus they have a hard time finishing at the top of the overall. This may be true, as they have some great players in Vegas. In my review of the leagues I have the belief that NY has the highest amount of owners becoming inactive. I have noted a team that drafted Longoria and never started him, so I believe that owner was not active. Life sometimes gets in the way of this hobby. Others, will say Chicago is weak (has more then its share of bad teams) or three different league winners would not have finished high in the Overall Prize pool.
