We are all set for the first official NFBC draft of the season as we've assembled 15 league champs from 2008 to participate in our magazine league draft on Tuesday, Dec. 16th at 7 pm EST. We'll host all 30 rounds on MockDraftCentral.com and play this out on the NFBC game site, with first place earning a $500 credit in the NFBC for 2010. Look for an e-mail in the next week with your password and the URL for the draft and please be there on time.

Here's some of the facts from this list:
** SIX owners got their No.1 preference, an incredibly high number, but indicative of so many different listings this year.
** Nine owners had a Top 4 choice. After that, owners got their 6th, 7th, 9th, 10th, 10th and 14th preferences.
** The average KDS preference was 4.7, which means on average owners got their fourth or fifth preference, a great average for 15 teams.
** Four owners went straight 1-14. Of the other 11 owners who set their KDS preferences, only two had No. 1 listed as their top preference. No. 1 wasn't even a Top 5 preference for four owners. Nobody had a top preference higher than 9 and the back-end still wasn't a favorite of most owners in this draft.

MDC does not have that capability, but I agree it would be fun if they did. I'll post these results the next day for the first few rounds and then we'll obviously have this in our magazine shortly after that. But yes, this should be fun and the KDS preferences are already interesting.
