Week 18 FAAB Bids

Each week, we'll showcase some of the top FAAB pickups in each league so that everyone can stay up to speed with some of the new acquisitions. Here's the going rate in each NFBC league for the most sought-after free agents:



Chicago League 1: vultures had the high bid, paying $114 for Doug Mientkiewicz. Cashin In paid $50 for Chase Utley, while BUCKEYEBO paid $45 for Horacio Ramirez and Howdogs paid $42 for Ramon Ortiz. Other high bids were The Cableguy paying $33 for Greg Aquino; BUCKEYEBO paying $29 for Luis Terrero; Howdogs paying $28 for Sterling Hitchcock and vultures paying $27 for Alexis Rios.



Chicago Leauge 2: BobCats had the two highest bids, paying $150 for Matt Herges and $147 for Bob Wickman. DFW Rough Riders paid $79 for Coco Crisp, while Mastering the Flow paid $62 for B.J. Upton. Other high bids were Dante's Screamers paying $29 for Dewon Brazelton and Drafthelp Noys of Summer paying $26 for Robb Quinlan.



Chicago League 3: What's the rumpus? had the high bid, paying $50 for Robb Quinlan. Other high bids were Worst Russian Ever paying $31 for Jason Johnson 31 and Godfathers B.S patrol paying $23 for B.J. Ryan.



New York League 1: Sunshine Boys had the high bid this week, paying $101 for Jeff Conine. Triple A paid $45 for Bob Wickman, while Tyree and Lysol paid $41 for Sidney Ponson. Other high bids were Triple A paying $25 for Greg Aquino and 100 LARGE AND IN CHARGE paying $21 apiece for Luis Terrero and Abraham Nunez.



New York League 2: Team qqq paid $79 for B.J. Upton for this week’s high bid. Meanwhile, Crawdaddys paid $50 for Robb Quinlan, while Roenicke-Lowenstein paid $28 for Mark Hendrickson. Other high bids were Harlem Hangover paying $26 for Greg Aquino; Crawdaddys paying $25 for Josh Towers; Ride the Puffins paying $22 for Jason Johnson; Jersey Bombers paying $21 for Jason Christiansen and Crawdaddys paying $20 for Marcus Thames.



New York League 3: Balto. Boys paid $55 for Robb Quinlan for this week’s high bid. Disco Jiggy paid $54 for Sidney Ponson, while M&M Boys paid $52 for Dave Ross and Team Paley paid $51 for Greg Aquino. Other high bids were Team Paley paying $26 for Jay Gibbons and Team Ross paying $25 for Wilfredo Ledezma and $22 for Dave Borkowski.



New York League 4: The Chameleons had the high bid, paying $134 for Greg Aquino. Zachoko paid $93 for Robb Quinla, while ROTOWORLD.COM paid $68 for Justin Leone. Other high bids were Kings of Swing paying $53 for Daniel Cabrera; We have Midas paying $29 for Wilfredo Ledezma and Sterling Hitchcock and ROTOWORLD.COM paying $26 for Mark Grudzielanek.



New York League 5: Supply-siders had the high bid in this league, paying $131 for Greg Aquino, while Money Bags shelled out $113 for Victor Zambrano and Hardways paid $87 for Scott Hairston. Other high bids were Team Fox paying $36 for Chris Capuano and CALS CREW paying $31 for Ramon Ortiz.



Las Vegas League 1: Statistical Apocolypse paid $317 for Luis Terrero for this week’s high bid, while PIGGY paid $242 for Matt Herges. Sooner Magic paid $188 for B.J. Upton, while FOLLOW DA LEADER paid $81 for Greg Aquino and PIGGY paid $58 for Rod Barajas. Other high bids were Blind Threesome paying $58 for Marcus Thames; SportsBuff.com paying $53 for Sidney Ponson and LB High & Mighty paying $20 for Mark Hendrickson.



Las Vegas League 2: Smoky Mtn. Oysters paid $129 for Greg Aquino for this league’s high bid. Welcome to Stevieland paid $105 for B.J. Ryan, while Reno Bulldogs paid $99 for Charles Thomas, Overpaid Greedy Bastards paid $83 for John Olerud and The Perfect Obsession paid $69 for Luis Terrero. Other high bids were Reno Bulldogs paying $51 for Jason Johnson; Maroon & White paying $25 for Dave Ross and Welcome to Stevieland paying $20 for Dustin Hermanson.



Las Vegas League 3: Appleton Hays had the high bid, paying $284 for B.J. Upton. Other high bids were Vega$ Gambler$ paying $65 for Robb Quinlan and CREATiVESPORTS (Buster) paying $43 for Matt Herges.



Las Vegas League 4: Leaderboard Sports NFBC paid $81 for Rafael Palmeiro for the week’s high bid. NADER'S RAIDERS paid $60 for B.J. Upton, while Edwards Kings paid $57 for Jack Wilson. Other high bids were Wiz's LeaderboardSports paying $31 for Ty Wigginton and CC's Desperados (Draft) paying $27 for Merkin Valdez.



Las Vegas League 5: Team O'Connor had this week’s high bid, paying $75 for Greg Aquino. The Slugs paid $66 for B.J. Upton and $41 for Luis Terrero, while Hell Bent For Leather paid $38 for Alexis Rios. Other high bids were The Slugs paying $31 for Ricky Ledee; Team Johnson paying $27 for Kenny Lofton and $22 for Dave Ross and The Four Perps paying $20 for Mike Wood.
