Greg,

Since the last one filled up in less than 1 day, what do you think about opening up *another* early-season $250 NFBC Slow Draft Satellite

Draft Champions Format?

I would love to join. Sign me up if you think it's possible.

Thanks,

J

Thanks,

J Yes, no problem on that. I think we could fill another one of those as well. My only question is: Do people want to do one of these to manage their teams during the season or do they like this with a Draft Champions format where you draft 45 rounds and don't make free agent pickups during the year?

I ask that because I think some folks like to draft that deep right now for practice before the main event and because they don't want another team where they have to work so hard every Sunday night. I'll gladly offer another $250 NFBC Draft Champions Slow Draft.

But we can do 30 rounds, $250, Pay Top 3 Slow Draft as well. Well, I guess there's only one way to find out and that's start a thread with both options. I'll do that next.

Ah-hah, I just saw the title of your thread: DRaft Champions. Okay, let's see who wants to do that format for now:

NFBC Draft Champions Slow Draft

$250 Entry Fee, 45 rounds, no in-season FAAB pickups

$2,000 for first, $750 for second, $250 for third.

Starts as soon as we fill this up and run KDS

Another option on the payout could be $1300 (free entry to the 2010 NFBC main event for first, $1300 or free entry for second and $400 for third. Just a thought as I think folks did like the three free entries that went with last night's $325 Draft Champions format that KJ Duke devised. Three winners out of 15 is pretty good for a $325 investment.

I'll do whatever the folks want.

Greg, I like the $250 for $2,000 and would be interested in the slow draft format 45 round DC league, but would also play for the free entries if that's what the majority wanted to do.

Thank you,

Mike

I'd be up for another :D Why not set it for $325, that way you can have a free main entry ($1300) for the top 3 finishers ? The one late in march and april are $500 and top loaded. These early ones are a little shot in the darkish.

Lots of speculation involved, way more than toward the end of spring training. The March/April $500 DC's pay out 4k to 1st. $1300 is a good hook for a player...he can still override some bad luck thru no fault of his own and triple the $.

[/QUOTE]Yup, let's try to fill this one up at $250 and then open the station next week for a $325 DC draft. There are others who didn't get in last night who said they would like to do it at that level, so maybe we'll fill another league just as quickly.

Hey, I'm new and this is my first post. This is just to confirm my interest in the $250 slow draft league. I am already #5 on the list, but I was signed up through a friend (Andy Saxton) as I was awaiting messageboard access. I hope I receive an email when it's full and ready, along with instructions on how to pay. thx
