Slow Draft, Jan. 11th, $325 Draft Champions League
Okay, there appears to be a request for another $325 NFBC Draft Champions, Slow Draft League, so let's put one together. We'll start it shortly after we fill it up and get this league set up on the Registration page after that.
Here's the concept: 15 owners, 45 rounds, no FAAB during the season, $325 per entry fee and we'll pay the top three finishers with a free entry to the 2010 NFBC main event or $1300 each. So the roster you draft is what you have to work with during the season. There are no pickups, but you still set your starting lineup each week and make moves on Friday for DL players if needed.
Just sign in on this thread and the first 15 are in. Thanks all and good luck.

WOW there is a new game in town.Who ever would have thought the slow draft would be the next big thing.
As long as you get serious owners who have a little respect about keeping the draft moving this can be a blast.THE message board alone is worth it , i cant believe everytime i go on it's seems like more than half of the player's are on and having fun.
GOT TO LOVE THE SLOW DRAFT.

GOT TO LOVE THE SLOW DRAFT. Agreed Eddie. I went into a couple of the slow drafts yesterday and it was like a social networking site. Guys were trading thoughts on certain players and just asking about family and just hanging out while the clock above said "58 Minutes, 51 Seconds To Make Your Pick." It's awesome and I want to thank MockDraftCentral.com for being able to provide this and for our NFBC veterans who suggested this.
I told Tom yesterday that this is great for our players, great for us and great for the excitement of baseball right now.
Once we get about 4-5 of these Slow Drafts beyond Round 10, I'll start mixing in some early round results on the NFBC boards. I don't want folks matching up the draft results with the names of the drafters, but once we get a bunch of these going we can tease the results on our boards. Heck, we may even offer an additional ADP list in mid February as part of our free ADP lists since we'll have a nice batch of results before the NFBC Satellite League season kicks off. I see no problem in offering more ADPs to all Satellite League players who are signed up.
Thanks all and have fun with these "social networking" Slow Drafts.

Mike Is this Mike Rosenblum? The $250 league is full with you, but Ken Norred will take your spot if that's what you want to do. Just say the word and I'll make it work.

Yeah, Mike Rosenblum. Never mind then...I checked the thread and saw only 6 names still. Not about to abandon a league like that if it's full! Leave me where I am and I'll see if I can scrape up some extra money for another league, let me go check the couch cushions...

I swore I wouldn't take on another league beyond what I've already committed to or plan to commit to. I also told Shawn yesterday that it would probably bore me to tears. On the other hand, it's shaping up like an SCL II and sooo tempting. Maybe I should get an early read on what Dobies is thinking this year as I'll be going HTH with him again in both Supers
I'm also curious as to the information Kelly's been sharing with my pal Nevadaman Oh what the hell, sign me up too Gregg.

Bob M - just leave some time on Draft Day for the Imperial Palace early morning meeting.
I think it is Lindy's turn to buy.

Glad you decided to come back to Vegas. Lindy knew you would, he said you love Vegas too much. Funny though, he said it was your turn to buy? You guys can work that out. I'd offer myself but it says right on the Spartacus Family Crest (under the roto-slave hanging from a tree) "First to Eat-Last to Treat." Wish I could be of more help

Hello Greg
I'm surprised that some of the All Star owners from Las Vegas league 3 would'nt want to get in this league and get thier money back from me. Oh well.....maybe they can't handle the competition of this line up.

Hey, sign me up, I will do this $325 slow draft w/ no FA pickups league. I am currently in the $250 one that is scheduled to start soon.
One thing though - I registered for the messageboard a few days ago. However, my same ID/password isn't working for the main NFBC site. I think I need this to pay for and view my teams. Is there something I need to do to make this happen? Do I re-register once the leagues are posted on the main site? Thanks.

Yeah, your messageboard log-in is different from your team log-in. I can get you officially signed up and logged in for these slow drafts. Just e-mail me your contact info or phone number and I'll get you set up and paid for these leagues. Thanks.

Thanks, Robert Zidonik Robert, my Shawn Childs League draft was a trainwreck this week, I'm ready for redemption in this league! However, in looking at the names on the list I said to myself, "Where's the fish?" Then quickly realized I'm the fish!!!
