1. How did it feel to win the league title?

As a repeat champion I must say it felt great. My goal is to join some select company and win a league title for a third straight year

2. What were the keys to your championship season?

I didn't select a pitcher until the 8th round so selecting the Cy Young Award winner from the NL, Tim Lincecum, certainly anchored my staff. Also, getting John Danks in the 28th round also was a huge help. The biggest piece to the puzzle was an early FAAB pickup of Alexei Ramirez.

3. Was there a point in the season when you began to realistically believe you could win the title?

If you mean the overall title, I moved into the Top 10 the last month of the season and really thought with a monster last month I could get to the top. I was very satisfied with an overall fifth-place finish

4. What draft day strategies worked out the best?

I had planned on making an all-out assault on offense for the first 7-10 rounds of the draft. I waited until the eighth round to select a pitcher and it enabled me to focus the first seven rounds solely on offense. I also waited until Rounds 11 and 12 to pick up closers and got lucky with B.J. Ryan and Brian Wilson

5. Did any not work out the way you planned?

While my plan was to go offense the first 7-10 rounds of the draft I did not do an adequate enough job of addressing BA and wound up chasing it the entire year, which probably cost me a place or two in the overall standings.

6. How did FAAB work for you?

For the second year in a row FAAB lead the way to my league title. While getting Alexei Ramirez early in the year was huge, getting Kelly Shoppach, Denard Span and Pablo Sandoval definitely helped point the way to the top as well.

7. How was the competition in your league and the overall event?

The competition in my league was outstanding as even the teams that were out of it played right up until the end. As for the overall competition, what can I say, the NFBC is second to none when it comes to competitive fantasy baseball.

8. How long have you been playing fantasy football/fantasy sports?

25 years

9. Personal info - married/single, where do you live, what do you do for a living?

I'm a Regional Sales Manager for a Health Care Software Company. I've been married for 14 years and have three amazing children.
