I spoke with Greg about this and he suggested I put this on the board to get some feedback. My suggestion was a Tournament of Champions League( it could be two leagues with an overall winner) that would kick off in 2010. Tennis has the Masters Series, Golf has the Tour Championship, so I thought how about the NFBC. My thoughts were that it would be a league that an owner would have to earn their way in. An overall champion would get a lifetime exemption (they could participate every year). After that the spots would be filled by multiple year league champions and/or the top 15 (or 30) ranked NFBC players (with a minimum of say 4 years participation). As for the prizes I figured maybe we could get some sponsors(figured NBC/Krause could do this) that could give away a vacation package or two or some other real nice giveaways. The TOC League could be used to promote the NBC/NFBC leagues. Thoughts?
