I know we still have a week of January left, but already some folks are forming some strong opinions about their KDS preferences. I know that some people don't feel this is an important part of their off-season strategy, but it should be if you are planning a strategy for attacking the early rounds. By getting your preferred area of the draft, you should be able to get some of the key players you are targeting and then feel good as you enter the next 3/4's of your draft.



I'd be interested to hear what area of the draft looks good to you with less than two months of preparation to go. Do you like the front of the draft this year? The middle, the back-end?? Which area would you like to avoid?? Is there any particular draft spot you'd love to have and any that you'd hate to have??

quite possibly Tommy's equal.

I generally like to draft out of the middle, but looking at the early mocks (of limited value, but the best we have until spring training), I think I would really like a shot at what has become the "Big Five" (Hanley, Jose, Albert, David, and Alex). The talent available at the 2/3 turn and the 4/5 turn is still deep and fairly predictable. Subject to change as Clum or Chesty talk me off the ledge, but right now my KDS right now would be a straight 1-15.



Can I start out with one of the early slots and move to the middle?
