When I go to register it is telling me that my username already exists, and that I need to create another one? What am I supposed to do?

Paul Paul, go to your teams page and then scroll down and click on the link that says 2009 NFBC registration open (or words to that effect). Then complete the registration process. That will get you past the message you're seeing now.
