Each week, we'll showcase some of the top FAAB pickups in each league so that everyone can stay up to speed with some of the new acquisitions. Here's the going rate in each NFBC league for the most sought-after free agents:

Chicago League 1: www.RotoRank.com and 1000 Benjamins had the high bid this week, with RotoRank paying $94 for Freddy Guzman and 1000 Benjamins paying $94 for Wilson Alvarez. Other high bids were www.RotoRank.com paying $47 for Esteban Loaiza; Crosley Field Nash,Young paying $37 for Craig Monroe; Big Mac Attack paying $36 for Russell Branyan and CARPE DIEM paying $33 for David Dellucci.

Chicago League 2: Dante's Screamers had the high bid this week, paying $52 for Joe Crede. Other high bids were Antioch Apocalypse paying $41 for Freddy Guzman; Shenanigans paying $31 for John Buck; Dante's Screamers paying $26 for Nate Robertson and DFW Rough Riders paying $25 for Calvin Pickering.

Chicago League 3: Team Esposito paid $143 for Carlos Pena for this week’s high bid. Superpions paid $118 for Noah Lowry and $48 for Jeff DaVanon. cheers, meanwhile, paid $41 for Ben Davis.

New York League 1: MotownPhilly had the high bid, paying $207 for Freddy Guzman, while Triple A paid $126 for Jeremy Affeldt.

New York League 2: Roenicke-Lowenstein had the high bid this week, paying $38 for Calvin Pickering. Other high bids were Kingman-Millan Gambit paying $31 for Freddy Guzman; Cellar Dwellers paying $29 for Joe Valentine; F-scubba paying $28 for Bobby Higginson and $25 for Ramon Ortiz and Cellar Dwellers paying $22 for Joe Randa.

New York League 3: LEADERBOARD BIG APPLE had the high bid, paying $150 for Freddy Guzman, while We Go Now paid $132 for Calvin Pickering.

New York League 4: We have Midas had the high bid, paying $100 for Freddy Guzman. We have Midas also paid $45 for Calvin Pickering, while Moneymaker paid $30 for Cory Lidle. Other high bids were Team Cummings paying $27 for Kazuhisa Ishii and $25 for Miguel Batista; BARNSTORMERS paying $20 for Jody Gerut and CREATiVESPORTS Walton paying $20 for Joe Crede.

New York League 5: Dyv & Espo had the high bid, paying $83 for Freddy Guzman, while Team Jones paid $20 for Tony Armas.

Las Vegas League 1: The B-Sharps had the high bid, paying $111 for Freddy Guzman. Sooner Magic paid $41 for Calvin Pickering, while LB High & Mighty paid $37 for Bobby Higginson, SportsBuff.com paid $33 for Joe Valentine and Blind Threesome paid $31 for Jorge Cantu. Other high bids were SportsBuff.com paying $29 for Gil Meche and $22 for Carlos Pena.

Las Vegas League 2: The Perfect Obsession had the high bid, paying $121 for Calvin Pickering. Overpaid Greedy Bastards paid $101 for Freddy Guzman, while Coyotes paid $94 for Joe Valentine, while The Perfect Obsession paid $77 for Scot Shields and Captain Hook paid $69 for Wilfredo Ledezma. Other high bids were Maroon & White paying $28 for Hee Seop Choi; Dumb Bozos paying $21 for Eli Marrero and Coyotes paying $21 for Luke Hudson.

Las Vegas League 3: WEIRD SCIENCE paid $109 for Freddy Guzman for the high bid. PezSox paid $102 for Calvin Pickering, while CREATiVESPORTS (Buster) paid $70 for Chase Utley. Other high bids were Appleton Hays paying $28 for Derek Lowe; chicken dinner paying $26 for Craig Monroe; Pedro and Man paying $25 for Joe Valentine and carpe dinero paying $23 for Mark Bellhorn.

Las Vegas League 4: Fort Lauderdale Tides had the high bid, paying $156 for Calvin Pickering. Other high bids were CC's Desperados (Draft) paying $71 for Freddy Guzman and NADER'S RAIDERS paying $20 for Joe Valentine.

Las Vegas League 5: wemarriedshiksas paid $91 for Freddy Guzman for this league’s high bid. The Four Perps paid $40 for Calvin Pickering, while wemarriedshiksas paid $30 for Ryan Wagner. Other high bids were Hell Bent For Leather paying $28 for Joe Valentine; Crazy Zefurs paying $26 for Bobby Higginson; Team O'Connor paying $25 for Kyle Lohse and The Four Perps paying $20 for Russell Branyan.

New York AL Auction: Balticsquids paid $230 for Calvin Pickering for this league’s high bid. Other high bids were Balticsquids paying $77 for Adam Melhuse; Ole Half Mile paying $41 for Timo Perez and Walking Wounded paying $38 for Randall Simon.

Las Vegas AL Auction: Speak Softly paid $84 for Calvin Pickering for this week’s high bid.

Las Vegas NL Auction: Wizs LeaderboardSports NL paid $201 for Freddy Guzman for the high bid. Crazy Zefurs paid $153 for Joe Valentine, while Wizs LeaderboardSports NL paid $101 for Ryan Church. Other high bids were Team Tiegs paying $21 for Brandon Backe.
