Each week, we'll showcase some of the top FAAB pickups in each league so that everyone can stay up to speed with some of the new acquisitions. Here's the going rate in each NFBC league for the most sought-after free agents:

Chicago League 1: Crosley Field Nash,Young had the high bid in this league, paying $32 for Bobby Higginson, while Howdogs paid $21 for Hideo Nomo.

Chicago League 2: Frank the Tank paid $137 for Troy Glaus for this week’s high bid. Other high bids were Dante's Screamers paying $41 for Jeff Francis; Frank the Tank paying $37 for Scott Kazmir and CREATiVESPORTS Gawron paying $20 for Josh Fogg.

Chicago League 3: Team Esposito had the high bid, paying $36 for Josh Fogg, while Superpions paid $26 for Scott Kazmir.

New York League 1: On The DL paid $150 for Scott Kazmir for this week’s high bid, while Sunshine Boys paid $21 for Chan Ho Park.

New York League 2: F-scubba paid $38 for Juan Rivera for the league’s high bid, while Roenicke-Lowenstein paid $26 for Scott Kazmir.

New York League 3: Balto. Boys had the high bid, paying $200 for Troy Glaus. Team Paley paid $89 for Jeremy Bonderman, while LEADERBOARD BIG APPLE paid $75 for Juan Uribe. Other high bids were Balto. Boys paying $35 for Scott Kazmir; Team Ross paying $28 for Jeff Francis and 100 Grand paying $20 apiece for Craig Monroe and Brett Tomko.

New York League 4: Team Cummings paid $222 for Troy Glaus for this league’s high bid. Quahogs paid $80 for Jeff Francis, while Kings of Swing paid $55 for Scott Kazmir. Other high bids were Team Cummings paying $28 for Brett Tomko; Ya Gotta Believe paying $28 for Glendon Rusch; Team Cummings paying $25 for Mike Hampton and We have Midas paying $24 for Luke Hudson.

New York League 5: Hardways paid $55 for Bobby Madritsch for this week’s high bid, while Supply-siders paid $21 for Scott Kazmir.

Las Vegas League 1: THE LIP had the three highest bids this week, paying $240 for Scott Kazmir, $151 for John Van Benschoten and $100 for Angel Berroa. Other high bids were SportsBuff.com paying $37 for Hideo Nomo; Blind Threesome paying $31 for Brett Tomko and The B-Sharps paying $24 for Troy Glaus and $23 for Juan Rivera.

Las Vegas League 2: Kazu & Tre & 105K had this week’s high bid, paying $131 for Pat Burrell. ROIDRAGE paid $77 for Jeremy Bonderman, while Overpaid Greedy Bastards paid $64 for Scott Kazmir. Other high bids were Coyotes paying $32 for Abraham Nunez; Kazu & Tre & 105K paying $31 for Hideo Nomo; Maroon & White paying $29 for Juan Rivera; The Perfect Obsession paying $27 for Clint Barmes and Tres Hombres paying $25 for Ismael Valdez.

Las Vegas League 3: CREATiVESPORTS (Buster) paid $85 for Scott Kazmir for this week’s high bid, while Injuries-R-Us paid $77 for Jeff Francis. Other high bids were PezSox paying $48 for Pat Burrell; CREATiVESPORTS (Buster) paying $47 for Juan Rivera; chicken dinner paying $35 for Juan Uribe and Pedro and Man paying $25 for Josh Fogg.

Las Vegas League 4: KLN Rotomania paid $213 for Scott Kazmir for this league’s high bid. Johnny Walker Reds paid $77 for Austin Kearns, while Wiz's LeaderboardSports paid $61 for Brett Tomko. Other high bids were Wiz's LeaderboardSports paying $31 for Josh Fogg; Johnny Walker Reds paying $27 for Deivi Cruz and FresnoFanatics paying $25 for Julio Franco.

Las Vegas League 5: LB Big Richards paid $77 for Jeff Francis for this week’s high bid. Other high bids were The Four Perps paying $50 for Scott Kazmir; LB Big Richards paying $37 for Reed Johnson and Go Bears paying $25 for Juan Rincon.

New York AL Auction: Glimmer Twins paid $171 for Scott Kazmir for this league’s high bid. Other high bids were down the stretch paying $51 for Bruce Chen; BAD ANGEL'S paying $33 for John Buck and Blaze Meats paying $29 for Tim Raines Jr.

Las Vegas AL Auction: Speak Softly had the high bid, paying $92 for Scott Kazmir. Other high bids were Captains of Tequila paying $69 for Bruce Chen and Casey Kotchman and $55 for Jimmy Gobble.

Las Vegas NL Auction: Zefurs paid $103 for Clint Barmes for this week’s high bid. cheapthrills paid $100 for Jeff Francis, while Wizs LeaderboardSports NL paid $61 for Chris Magruder and Zefurs paid $58 for Maicer Izturis. Other high bids were Leaderboard Sports NL paying $34 for Rick Ankiel; Bats Out of Hell paying $31 for Brad Hawpe and cheapthrills paying $27 for Jeff Keppinger and $20 for Luke Hudson.
