On Friday I helped with the $1,300 auction. Glenn Schroter (King of Queens) did an outstanding job as the auctioneer. The only disappointment of the evening was that there wasn't a bottle of scotch ANYWHERE near the room (those who were there no what I am talking about!

Saturday was an absolute blast! The draft was a great deal of fun. 30 rounds of action, talking with some old friends, and meeting many new ones. I will say, that strictly "fantasy baseball players" are not fans of fantasy football players. Didn't matter though, as this baseball thing just may end up sticking with me.

Finally, Tom Kessenich's hospitality was again TOP NOTCH. My only fear is that Tom may not be working at Krause Publications much longer, as the rumor is that he may pursue a new career as a "professional beer pong player". "THE CLOSER" (as he is now called in the Village) was certainly on his game Saturday night!
Great hooking up with all my "football buddies", and meeting some new "baseball only" people this past weekend!
Best of luck to everyone this season!
