Rosters Update

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Wed Mar 25, 2009 3:08 am

All of the rosters from the live events have been entered and sent to STATS. In fact, Tom and the staff here in Iola had all of the leagues finished and off to STATS by 3:00 yesterday. STATS is updating everything now and adding player IDs to some of the obscure players who didn't have IDs on the small stickers. So we're just fine-tuning everything now with STATS to make sure we have every player coded.

With any luck, we'll make rosters viewable on your team pages today. I can't promise it will be today but certainly no later than tomorrow. All of the work is done. There will obviously be some errors when it comes to entering the right numbers, so if you see any error with your roster, just send to me or tom at [email protected] or [email protected]. We'll update all of those easily before the free agent lists are active in each league next week.

Thanks all and get ready for a great season.

Thank you guys for another first class event and the follow through on the rosters. You got us our draft spot before last weekend and I can't say enough about how you keep us informed on all issues. THANK YOU!!!

"There will obviously be some errors when it comes to entering the right numbers"If I mistakenly get a better player than I drafted, you won't hear a peep out of me. Im sure you will from the other 14 GMs though....

He did not have a player ID and I think we ended up with two Josh Fields in some leagues. Just look for that one if you have him in any live event league because we want to make sure you have the right one.

I'm not sure when STATS will make these rosters live, but I'll update this when they let me know. I know everyone wants to look at the drafts from the other leagues and such, but just give us a little longer. We're almost there.

agreed....the rosters are up.

The only issue I see right now is that the free agent section still contains all players in the league and not just the free agents.

Great job getting the rosters up very quickly!

Greg, one thing I noticed with the rosters is position eligibility. I've noticed some DH only players being eligible at other positions ie. Kendry Morales and Eric Chavez. There may be others but those are two that stuck out.

Going though my leagues last night there seemed to be a few issues with the position eligibility of some players.

countless position eligibility issues, but a long time to get it fixed.

One request can you get the draft results feature updated. We all like to look at the other leagues in detail.

Thanks in advance..

Thanks in advance.. Yes, STATS is updating our player eligibility lists now. Those will be fixed shortly.

I'm sure STATS will make the draft results live once they are all updated. We had two leagues that needed full team updates and those have been done now. We're real close to having every team corrected.

greg/tom: is there any way STATS can have more Free Agents listed on a single page. it will help out quite a bit. heck, i'd list all of them on the same page. having 1 page for all the SP is a lot better than having 6 or 7 pages of SP. thx

Okay, the position eligibilities for all players should match our NFBC rules. I have asked them to fix Kendry Morales and Pablo Sandoval, so give them a few minutes on those two, but otherwise we should be correct. If you find any discrepencies, let me know. Good luck all.

In LV2, it shows I drafted OF Brian Anderson; needs to be changed to OF Shin Soo-Choo...thanks.

Hey Greg - feel free to leave Kendry alone

By the way, during beer pong, Tom guaranteed me a Top 15 finish in all my leagues this year- so I am holding him to that one. :D
