I will go the other way from "Who?Who?Who?" and ask who did you get that made your day in the Main.



Mine is easy as BJ Upton fell to me at the 8th pick of the third (and then proceded to get hit in the hand). Still and all, I was all smiles.

Wow, that is UNREAL; great steal. I was happy to get Kendry Morales with the 11th pick in round 23.

Chris Iannetta and Lastings Milledge at 10.15 and 11.01, respectively.

Carl Crawford at 2.08, Rich Harden at 10.08

Healthy reports on and a possible early return for Kelvim Escobar. We have him in both the main and the Chicago auction.

Edwin Encarnacion in the 12th I thought was good...he has serious power potential for a 3rd baseman ..his average will kill me but I thought I was gonna be dead there....he could get his hrs into the 30s....headley in the 22nd I thought was good also....and gavin floyd in the 16th

Rollins 1-13, Texiera, 2-3, Youkilis 4-3.....at this point in the draft with Alexi Ramirez also in tow, I was real happy about my draft....the rest didn't quite live up to this start.

Jake Peavy for $21 and Carlos Guillen for $5 in Chicago auction.

He hit .289 (over his head of course) in 2007 and .276 in 2006 when he was something like 23 years old. He has a solid 80+% contact rate with 60-65% of those balls going as line drives or flyballs in that bandbox Great American half the time. I really reached for him in the 10th, but I knew I was going pitcher/pitcher in the 11th and 12th, so I did not think he would be there in the 13th. Nice value grab to me in the 12th. I also have Headley but I definitely got him earlier, too.

I passed on Ianetta at 8.12 figuring he would easily slide back to me. He was taken at 8.14!



I then took Milledge at 9.04.



Wasn't your league supposed to be one of the more challenging ones?

And the one that I am sure people will scoff at, Cust in Round 20. I saw that a guy like Adam Dunn is going in rounds 4 or 5, and if you ask me, I'd much rather take Cust in round 20. Here are their numbers from last year:



Dunn - 79 R, 40 HR, 100 RBI, 2 SB, .236 AVG, .386 OBP

Cust - 77 R, 33 HR, 77 RBI, 0 SB, .231 AVG, .375 OBP



Dunn is moving to a weaker hitting park than the two he played in last year, and has a weaker line-up surrounding him than both the 2 from last year.



Cust has the benefit of 3 good hitters being added to his line-up, which means better pitches and more opportunities to knock runs in and score runs.

Joey Votto at 4.12.



Based on where he was getting snagged in satellites, I didn't even preparefor him on draft day. However, he was the one player I spoke to KO about before the draft that I would deviate from "the plan" if he was there in the 4th.



I already had Wright and Fielder, but I felt the value was to good to pass up.

Still delusional about that increased batting average from Cust? Pray he gets a decent number of at-bats.

I also feel getting Ludwick in the late 7th was great for me...if you compare he and brauns numbers from last year they are nearly identical...now I know ludwick only did it for a year but I mean he went almost 7 rounds later.....I felt like getting him it was like getting a notch below braun .....

Even though he's hurt i thought E. Santana at 13.8 was a bargain.Also does Heilman in the 30th round count as a steal?
