Each week, we'll showcase some of the top FAAB pickups in each league so that everyone can stay up to speed with some of the new acquisitions. Here's the going rate in each NFBC league for the most sought-after free agents:



Chicago League 1: Big Mac Attack paid $40 apiece for Brandon Backe and Jeff Francis for this week’s high bids. Meanwhile, BUCKEYEBO paid $29 for Dallas McPherson.



Chicago League 2: Da Leaderboard paid $55 for Joe Valentine for this week’s high bid. Other high bids were Frank the Tank paying $50 for Dave Roberts and Da Leaderboard paying $35 for Michael Restovich and $20 for Jason Kubel.



Chicago League 3: cheers paid $51 for Ruben Sierra for this week’s high bid. Other high bids were cheers paying $50 for Ross Gload; What's the rumpus? paying $50 for John Patterson; cheers paying $34 for Juan Uribe and What's the rumpus? paying $24 for Jose Reyes and $20 for Edwin Jackson.



New York League 1: Triple A paid $8 for Kazuhisa Ishii for this league’s high bid.



New York League 2: Ride the Puffins paid $6 for Felipe Lopez and Jeff Francis and Kingman-Millan Gambit paid $6 for Jeremy Reed for this league’s high bids.



New York League 3: LEADERBOARD BIG APPLE paid $101 for Ross Gload and Jason Kubel for this league’s high bids. In other bids, Team Paley paid $76 for Glendon Rusch and We Go Now paid $57 for Calvin Pickering.



New York League 4: Quahogs paid $11 for Jose Reyes for this league’s high bid.



New York League 5: LBS Racktors paid $50 for Shawn Estes for this week’s high bid. Other high bids were East Coast Schwag paying $31 for Trot Nixon and LBS Racktors paying $21 for Ross Gload and $20 for Brandon Claussen.



Las Vegas League 1: OUT OF THE SHADOWS paid $185 for Mike Lowell for this week’s high bid. Statistical Apocolypse paid $165 for Kevin Millar, while Leaderboardsports.com ML paid $55 for Damion Easley. Other high bids were Blind Threesome paying $48 apiece for Josh Hancock and Jamie Moyer; Who Dat Is? paying $48 for Danny Haren; Leaderboardsports.com ML paying $30 for Marlon Anderson and Blind Threesome paying $21 for Chan Ho Park.
