GG Opening Night_Ramblings

I didn't even watch the game, so my ramblings will be from the boxscore.

1. Myers is a shell(fish). He managed to make the punchless Braves look PUNCHY! And this happened with an ump who had a very generous strike zone!!! With myers pitching IN COLORADO this week, don't tell you i didn't warn you. At this point, I view Chan Ho Park a better spec play than Myers. :( :(

2. Ryan Howard picked up where he left off last season. 0-4 with 2 K's. And this was against a RH. :(

3. Lowe looked good againt a nice lineup :D

Anyone want to drop some Schaefer manlove on this thread?

As for Howard... Lowe's sinker was extra nasty last night for it being a cool night on opening day. That wont show up in a boxscore...

And Schaefer looks like a gamer... I'll admit it... The ManLove is brewing... Physically I think of Hunter Pence when I saw him last night (with better wheels and a + glove)

Schaefer will be a player over the long run - but before you shower him will all your candy and kisses DO REMEMBER how Lidge undressed him. Double AA'er will be learning on the job this year.
Happy Recap

Where can a boxscore revealing strike zones be procured? Upon seeing you not watching the games, keep your bloody opinions about players to yourself.
I could break you, mate, in two pieces over my knees. You know it, I know it.

I called out "Jeff Francoeur two bucks" in MIDDLE of SAT nights auction...to crickets.

I elbowed the guys next to me and whispered "steal of the draft"...to a fist bump and a Chianti to Tecate toast!

He freaking turned on the ball so fast, I actually feared for the people in the left field bleachers like I would when a bat goes into the stands...that ball was moving FAST when it hit that guys glove for a homer.

How did you know the umpire had a "very generous strike zone" from the box score?
