By the way, Rich, I was the one that was four dollars short on Perry.

Oh, and thanks to MLB-TV which cut to their "please standby for the game" commercial when it went 0-2 on Wilson.

Here comes Motte ...
Motte scouting report:
He was throwing his fastball 93-96.
He was up in zone most of the time with very little command today. It did have some movement.
He threw a couple of nice sliders.
The first batter hit what looked like weak fly ball to left that should have been caught if they were playing normal defense. It look like they were shading the batter to center.
After a strikeout and ground out, he threw a knee high fastball down the middle that Laroche pulled between first and second to score the run.
The next batter Hinske stuck his bat out and dropped a weak fly ball the dropped in near the left field line.
On a 2-1 pitch, he hit Brandon Moss.
He had Jack Wilson down 0-2 when he threw a pitch up and in off the plate and Wilson hit a fly ball in between left and center.
The last batter flew out to straight away center field.
As a Motte owner it wasn't pretty. He did look nervous and he appeared to be over throwing his fastball
