Apparently there is something more to this "shoulder stiffness"
Sources told FOXSports.com's Ken Rosenthal that concerns raised by insurance companies over Brandon Webb's arm caused the Diamondbacks to withdraw their offer of a three-year, $54 million contract extension last June.
It was believed that a deal was just about done then, so this explanation for the breakdown makes a lot of sense.
