Maybe Downs left a little too early...

I watched the Jays all last year, and this is no surprise. To everyone who picked up Downs last week, congrats.

Ryan just doesnt have it and Downs does.DANN last year Downs pitched 71 innings with a 1.78 era and a 1.15 whip.The 57 k's wernt bad either i thing Downs could do the job and it may be soon.Downs is 33 so this isnt for the long term.

I caught BJ Ryan's attempt at the ninth inning tonight and it was rough. He was throwing 87 tops on his fastball, which was straight as an arrow...very hittable. Thought I stole him in the 13th round in an online, may be wrong on that one.
