His strikeout potential is exciting. His first start might be shaky, hopefully he keeps his walks down. Tough matchup vs. Carpenter.

It was his first time pitching in the majors, talk of going to bullpen or back to minors etc.

Now, he's got a few innings under his belt and he's got some serious upside. I got him late, what do I care?

Seriously Doughboys, you're more likely to look for something "wrong" with a post than not (by looking at a majority of your posts) You're obviously a very smart guy, why so negative all the time?

I don't care if you disagree but the negativity/arrogance gets old after awhile.

I think Gekko is rubbing off on you. ;)

[/QUOTE]Crazy, you couldn't be more off-base. You're reading Dan as if he has 2-7 off suit, when in reality he is sitting there with pocket aces. My advice for you Crazy, would be to fold.

Thank God we have private messaging on here, because it would be really awkward seeing you place a post for some backup doughboy.

Crazy has had issues with me which are understandable cuz I can be an a**. If you have issues with Dan you have to look in the mirror or stop the endless gabbing....

Well, growing up the hood has caused Dough to be an angry man. He used to be bangin

And then he decided to change, especially for people like Crazy

But we all know, he cannot shake what's deep inside of him.

Backup for what?

It's like asking somebody if they're thirsty and being answered with "It's 4 o'clock"

I have sent a pm today but it wasn't for "backup"

To Andy, Kent, Patrick, Steve, and Jules...Thanks for the "backup", appreciated....well at least Andy, Kent, and Jules, I'm still trying to figure out Patrick's and Steve's :D

I have a new signature in the works for later this week and if it offends one person I'll take it off.

Looks like I touched a nerve, very sorry.

Since I'm new, I don't expect any respect since I'm not as "weathered" as a lot of you.

However, I was reading two other posts and read more of your responses with connotation in reference to this one. It just seems to me that you're looking for a fight, otherwise you'd have just let it die instead of carrying it over to other postings.

Anyway - I was confused with the "doughboy" name since I thought it was talking about all the prize money you've been winning. I had no idea we were talking about your endomorphic body build.

Endomorphic?

I'm gonna have to ask somebody if I was just insulted. :D

What a great story if he could've started the year 2-0 without allowing an earned run. Hope he's only out 4 wks and not 8... we'll find out tomorrow.

Scherzer's a big K guy obviously but I stayed away from him because I didn't like his chances of staying healthy all year. Still don't. Of course, I also drafted Carpenter and now look where that's gotten me... ugghh.

Texas just scored again. Kinsler's 4 for 4.

Maybe I should pick up M Hampton

This just in, Texas scored again. Kinsler might bat 7 times.

I was watching the Jays game and saw the Texas score on the ticker and got a little excited...unjustly. My only ranger is Elvis, and he's just 1/2 with and RBI and a couple runs scored. I have him for a little SB insurance, but in hindsight that could be a bad choice.

On another note, those Jays are unreal hitters. Aside from Overbay and the catcher of the night, everyone can hit the ball. It's too bad Litsch couldn't have stayed a little healthier

- they say that since he has more of an "endomorphic" body type he'll recover just fine. ;)

I made the post based on a number of instances but have apologized to "Doughie" on the side. Rough night, overreacted to his comment. Time to move on.
